When Taliban started hiding in caves the politicians gave orders to the US army to not engage them there. If it had been for the US army the Taliban would be history.

Israel has to defend their civilians and their country's future. Hamas with their constant attacks & stated goals, has finally become an existential threat for Israel. @@SuperScarab hezb in 2006 fought with soviet era AKs and had a fracture of their personnel. Modern day hezb is a different ball game and “Israel” will suffer major losses if they try to create a buffer zone, where you need infantry to create it.

Dimona is a much smaller reactor than Chernobyl. It's output is dozens of times lower than the former. It also has a special containment shield in case of a meltdown and the reactor core is underground.

I think the pro-Palestinians need to make up their mind with these things, the legitimate point in which you can criticize Israel is that they're fighting Hamas which don't have much resources beyond their Kalashnikovs and primitive rockets, and what makes things difficult really is the tunnel network and civilian population, if you're saying Hamas is this military force that is a legitimate military threat to IDF than you'd in practical terms say IDF has to dominate on the ground with less consideration for civilian lives. Hamas has posted many videos of them firing some rocket propelled grenade on the tanks with these heavily edited videos, but it's a joke, these things do barely any harm to the tank, you'd have mines which is a threat that has had severe implications, but it's a very rare occurance

It doesn't however say that if Germany would send troups to fight side by side with Israel, and are getting pounded, that the rest of NATO would have some sort of agreement that they have to come and support.
