I liked that mre but because it’s ready to eat you could eat it cold but must taste better hot and i believe the military is issued canteens considering the stove
You're right stove rack, canteen and mesh tin(pot) is indeed issued by the military here in singapore

I'm pretty sure you tried the soft drink, Pocari Sweat, when you went to Japan. It's a non-cola cold drink with the odd name.

Pour some water on the chocolate dog biscuit and eat it like a soft biscuit. Easier to swallow too.

Glad you like our Singapore military's combat ration... that's what we called it... I had been military career for several... tried most NATO MRE during joint training... never had a chance to try one from the WARSAW pact...

The last drink is a sport drink from Japan.
As a conscriptee, I got to say that we consume the drink packets by pouring portions of the powder directly into our mouths and drinking water to help flush it down (although mixing it with hot/warm water is probably how it is meant to be prepared commercially). It's the most convenient and least messy way to consume it considering how limited water is during exercises or operations. We also do commonly eat the main pack rations directly out of the pack without heating them.
lol that drink with something floating is cereal. Most people just eat it dry taste better that way same goes to pocari pour it in your mouth then drink some water mix it in your mouth standard SAF way.
