You now need to get it remapped stage 1 or 2 with pops and bangs in order to take full advantage of the Ramair and Cobra exhaust it will even make your fuel efficiency better

Your fuel efficiency wouldn’t have changed from the air filter or exhaust it would just be down to you driving it faster because your more into it now...
The smell is probably a leak somewhere in the middle of your exhaust setup (before muffler) which makes it go into thr cabin easier.

If he does them himself and it goes wrong and then takes it to someone professional, the professional will charge more because they have to fix the problems before painting them
I did mine, sand them, lacquer coat then matte black them then I used a clear sealant spray over the top 👌🏽

The smell is the oils burning off the exhaust, yes. I had the same thing after installing mine.

I was just like you mate. Got my first car the day I passed at 17 always wanted to drive since I was a little boy. Book your theory for your 17th then take a few lessons and when you’re ready book practical as you can only do theory and practical when you’re 17+
I was the same at your age don’t wish ya life away mate I’m 20 now get ya self a cool little first car and work For it mate it’s rewarding I’ve got a mk7.5 gti now work work work that’s all I can say
I know how to drive, I’ve done some theory tests online and on my phone, also got those DVD’s that you can interact with, I used to get like 65% when I was like 10 but now I get 98% now, but they always change it so it’s never 100% I’ve driven my dads and mums manual cars and it was a breeze, (now they have automatics) I also have a Logitech G920 racing sim, I usually play Forza and city driving, and it’s like 2nd nature. ( I use clutch and gears too!) I honestly can’t wait! Oh and as well as that evreytime I play go karting I get the highest score of the year
@@HussainHack you sound just like me when I was your age. One thing you’re gunna need to learn is that you’re not going to pass without learning to drive how they(the examiners) want you to drive. No one handed driving, no lack of checking mirrors etc. You’ll get the hang of it swiftly but I’m just letting you know that there’s a huge difference between how you drive and how they want you to drive.
The exhaust sounds sick, maybe a bit louder would be nice, but I've never liked obnoxiously loud pops and bangs and stuff on cars, this exhaust seems to have the perfect balance
U need a stage one to benifit from the exhaust and ram air induction kit.👍😛😛
Not sure about the Scirocco but a few of the VW’s have a sound actuator that blasts an “engine tone” through the cab. If you want it even quieter inside take that out 😎

When I had the same car with a modified exhaust, I found that putting the DSG in sport and upshifting using the paddles gave much louder upshift farts.
Don’t get a dump valve 😅 once you’ve remapped the car and running more boost, you’ll get the same effect 😊. Get a GFB dv+ if you want a little flutter otherwise stock Rev g diverter valve🙌
Professional done. New exhaust smell well there getting carbon up. Yes exhaust does reduce mpg. I have a look to see if there are leaks as the tips look a little out of place.

With the air filter and exhaust you’ll feel some good benefits, but definitely go get a map done tailored to the car and what you’ve gone to it 😊 it’ll help fuel efficiency too

The air filter should increase MPG and the exhaust wont noticeably change it. i have a straight pipe and the only reason its using more fuel is the fact that you put your foot down every 5 seconds

If do your own wheels make sure you use a primer paint then lacquer and make sure that you leave it for 2-3 days before driving otherwise it starts to peel.

You need two things
1. Get a map so that you getting the most from your mods will change other the car feels trust me 100% can even get some pops too! Might be able to get a stage 2 with your mods.
2. Get better wheels on the car even if you black out the current ones they wouldn’t look that good even if you get the scirocco R wheels that would look better
