2:00 Since I had to perform it in High School; Pygmalion is a play that used to be a bit more famous written by George Bernard Shaw. The play was also adapted into "My Fair Lady"; the hyper short version, some nobleman English tutor swears he can take a "lowly peasant" and make them act, speak and present properly at a fancy ball. He succeeds, but in so doing basically destroys her ability to fit in with both the poor and the rich.

2 fun facts from Italy about wine:
- If you are in Italy near Chieti (A province in Abruzzo) stop by Ortona: there is a fountain from which spills free red wine all year round (I went there once, the wine was actually really good); there are other wine fountains in Italy, but they are only available during certain events.
- There is a legend of a ghost living in the cellars of the Castle of Montevecchio, in Tuscany; he was the owner of the castle, a passionate winemaker, and supposedly he inspects the quality of the wine in the cellars and the vineyards of the area.
A wine fountain? Now I'm curious of its infrastructure. Cool facts, thanks for sharing them! Italy is still on my to visit list!

The mark-up on alcohol in restaurants is based on the overhead on food being low, so, on alcohol it gets marked up and that's where the money is made.
Except food prices are also about 4-5x what it'd cost to just make it yourself, so no it's not?
@@dairoleon2682 Yeah but you're not cooking much less buying at large scales like restaurants do. Depending on the popularity some serve more food in a day than you eat in a month probably. And unlike food that goes bad relatively fast and has to be replenished more frequently due to spoiling or selling out, drinks are much more shelf stable so you only buy as much as you need for the month or week also depending on how much you sell.
@@Bigdude0444 I'm also paying more for the ingredients than the restaurant is by getting it from the grocery store rather than a wholesaler or internal supplier like major chains have, so the difference between what they spend and what they sell it for is much bigger than it appears.
I could be wrong, I believe he’s from New Zealand but lives in Australia, could be the other way round, either way his accent can be interpreted as mix of both

I think Europe in general, has some really beautiful countryside. Now I know hating the french is in my blood, but I do have fond memories of staying at my aunts farm house in the middle of nowhere france. I dont know what the current market is like but it was cheaper to up sticks to france than find a comperable middle of nowhere property with land in the UK back in the early 2000s
