Youre 6 yrs older than my son.. I find you very talented, LOVE your jazz keys-Fender Rhodes .I adore jazz. I also play piano and organ but not pop or true jazz(at the moment). More like old standards. and hymns-Methodist. Your hair looks better falling in your eyes, like on the today show. NOW I know your eyebrow is from dog bite not being a "player"! Its wonderful your parents careers helped you achieve yours. And perfect pitch-DANG. I cant imagine what that's like. Yeah I'm 60-,old enough to be your grama- BUT something about your persona and your true jazzy keys style-sends me. Of course when I was your age, in the mid 1980s-- rock and even disco music was the thing! From being in chorus in HS to singing later with local cover bands(late 1970s) and wearing the sexiest clothes I could find! having fancy photos of the band taken, hiring a manager , romances with players in the bands. All behind me now-but I enjoy looking at my old photos! I HAD a Fender but really didn't know how to play it then. Anyhow, your education in music shows! Keep up the good work, and stay grounded as you are now-for as long as you can, even forever! I really like Done For Me! I need to get a keyboard of my own again-and learn some boogie woogie and blues. And I also am working on a set list--playing hard rock songs in a smooth jazz standard way...to shock a few adults and college kids in this town! Again, all the best,. Stay kind, helping and being an example to kids and teens. Good luck, safety and joy in all you do! Oh Yeah ! My son 21 has taught himself to play the bass guitar! Oh-And I had no lessons- as a young teen I used some very old timey books and taught myself timing and how to play the keys!. I appreciate that I was able to do that! Years and years of practice BUT there is ALWAYS more we can learn!
