Tears rolled from my eyes when he cried. We the Non-Punjabi and Non-Bengali people can't understand their pain what they vone through during partition. People of Punjab and Bengal suffered alot due to this hate and hunger of power.

@Akash das It was a mistake of Sindhi Rajput ruler of Amarkot, Raja Chandra Singh Sodha who chose was member of Muslim League and chose Pakistan over India. Umarkot, Hyderabad, Mithi, Tharpakar, etc where where still majority Pakistani Hindu lives were forced to chose Pakistan with him. It we got that part of Sindh then may be India was able to take a Sindhi state.

My grandfather was from Khulna of the then undivided Bengal then he and his family moved to Dhanbad, then a part of Indian part of Bengal later Bihar and now Jharkhand. He frequently tells me stories about his homeland and feels sad, I wish I could take him to Khulna someday and let him relive his memories! But unfortunately he is no more and I myself personally want to visit the city where my ancestors once lived!

Tears in my eyes. Our elders on both side seeded this hate and division, and we are following it, its time for us youth to throw everything behind and let love give a chance... Being pakistani i have never listened or believed to media or propaganda and followed my heart and what my heart told me and what i witnessed was people on both side are so full of love and life. And we should learn to share and love and let go of ego wars and tensions. I would love to hug this dada ji and i would cry with him. If i was there. Its so much to witness such things being happening and recalling them. It must be traumatic. Godbless both the nations with alot of love and happiness and positivity. Love from Islamabad, pakistan

People were blind to take revenge .In the name of religion we chopped each other. How come we lived together for so many centuries. In the end the partition was for Land but vanished Humanity.

Thanks guys for sharing this nice video. Brought tears to my eyes as I remembered my late father. He was born in Lahore and lived in the Bhati Gate Kucha Mela Ram area -where he spent his early childhood. He was 12 when partition happened and the family had to leave the place. He had vivid memories of the place and had this immense desire to go back at least once in his lifetime to see his birthplace but his wish remained unfulfilled. He passed away in 2013.

We cannot deny one thing after seeing this and looking on to the history that be it a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian at the end of it humans were killed and humanity has been destroyed. People of Pakistan and the Jinnah then did a great mistake and a blunder leaving India and forming a new country. If we would have been a single country we would have been a superpower.
I just want to say the Pakistani people one thing look at the Indians and the country India, leave the politicians. We here live together, share our happiness and sorrows together. If someone is starving we don't give them food differently but we make them sit beside us and share food from our plates. We Indians have one thing that none of the countries in the world has and that is equality and respect. We respect each other and that's why many terror outfits have failed to lay foundations of their terror thoughts in this great country India which by the way have firmly been holding their foundation in your land of Pakistan. We treat everyone equally.

    • @rjhaveri8bh

We fell prey to British divide and rule cause we did not understand our respective religions. Each lost trust in other, so it should be our objective to bring people together by explaining people the divide is fake and non existing.
Muslims are themselves divided because they dont understand, preachings of prophet mohammed.
Like to provide some facts about Fatima (daughter of prophet Mohammed) and Abu Bakr. When Abu Bakr made himself the caliphate, the relations of Fatima strained with Abu Bakr and she stop speaking to him util she died, and when she died Abu Bakr was not invited to her burial.
      . Al Bukhari narrated:
      Hazrat Umar said :-
"And no doubt after the death of the prophet we were informed that the Ansar disagreed with us and gathered in the shed of bani sa'da . 'Ali and zubair and whoever was with them , opposed us, with the emigrants gathered with Hz Abu Bakr."
      ~~ Sunni reference : sahih al-Bukhari, Arabic -English , V8, tradition #817.
Fatima became angry with Hz Abu Bakr and kept away from him , and did not talk to him till she died . She remained alive for six months after the death of the prophet. When she passed away , her husband " Ali , buried her at night without informing Hz Abu Bakr and he pronounced the funeral prayer by himself ".
      ~~ Sunni references:-
      • Sahih Muslim 1759 a. Book 32 , hadith 61.book19 ,hadith 4352.
      • sahih al-Bukhari 4241 .Book64,hadith 278.vol.5, Book 59, hadith 546
‎Reported Allah's messenger as saying : "Fatima is a part of me.whoever makes her angry makes me angry ?"
      ~~ Sunni Reference :-
      • Sahih Bukhari vol.5 bk 62.hadith no.3714 .vol5, book 57 , hadith 61 :
Qur’an that gives a flavour for the scope of such authority of Prophet Mohammed:
The Prophet has more authority over the believers than their own selves… [33:6]
This authority got vested in ‘Ali as commanded by God and proclaimed by the Prophet (s) on the day of Ghadir Khumm(pronounced ghadeer) in a public event. But Abu Bakr violated the decision of the prophet Mohammed and became the first caliphate.
This authority got vested in ‘Ali as commanded by God and proclaimed by the Prophet (s) on the day of Ghadir Khumm(pronounced ghadeer) in a public event.
Here is one such narration from an important Sunni hadith source.
Al-Hakim al-Naysaburi says: "The Messenger of God while returning from his last hajj (hijjat al¬-wada') came down at Ghadir Khumm and ordered (us) towards the big trees, and the ground underneath them was swept.
"Then he said, 'I am about to answer the call (of death). Verily, I have left behind two precious things amongst you, one of which is greater than the other. The Book of Allah, the Exalted, and my 'itrah (i.e. Ahl al-bayt). So watch out how you treat these two after me, for verily they will not separate from each other until they come back to me by the side of the Pond.'
Then he said 'Verily, Allah, the Almighty and the Glorious, is my master (mawla) and I am the master (mawla) of every believer.' Then he took 'Ali, may God be pleased with him, by the hand and said, 'This ('Ali) is the master of whomever I am his master. O God, love whoever loves him and be the enemy of his enemy.'"
So it is proved that the first three caliphs are not really the right caliph
Only hz ali a.s is right after prophet Muhammed saws
Abu Bakr and Umar were sinners as they did not allow the wishes of Prophet Mohammed to be implemented.
90% of muslims are following infact reverse, they are following Abu Bakr, Umar, Utman, Abdul Wahab but not Prophet Mohammed.
This is the core problem, and so from there all the lies have started
From here the separatist ideology is started.
You try to make a muslim read from the hadith and read him all this but still he will not agree with prophet mohammed but he will agree with Zakir Naik or Abdul Wahab.
Why is this so complicated for muslims to understand this.
And so the hindus are divide with muslims because they dont understand and see the similarities
If you listen to this then there is no conflict between hinduism and islam. The main problem is ignorance among people I wont say muslims cause muslims dont even know much about preachings of prophet mohammed. Ego comes from Ignorance listen to this and you will know. th-cam.com/video/XMZevhQ98dY/w-d-xo.html
Quite honestly if people understand unity of religions then there is no conflict ....there is one allah, one ishwar....no message is different....it is people who are divisive. example even in old days prophet family had to run from fasadis. even aysha and Imam ali had a battle of camels between them. even the yazids too control ....so fasadis were there even in those times and nothing has changed they even exist today.
I think it is best to Treat all books of god with respect, may it be bible, quran, tora, angel, vedas, bhagwad gita.... why we have to say our truth is correct but your truth is false like zakir naik.
      Some verses from quran
verse of the Quran: “To you be your religion, to me be mine.”
“Whoever kills a person who has a truce with the Muslims will never smell the fragrance of Paradise.” (Saheeh Muslim)
“Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)
“the Jews have their religion and the Muslims have theirs.”
“If any dispute or controversy likely to cause trouble should arise, it must be referred to God and His Messenger.”
“…If they do come to you, either judge between them or decline to interfere...” (Quran 5:42)
Chapter 109 of the Quran. "Say: O you that reject faith! I do not worship that which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which you have been wont to worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your Way (or religion) and to me mine." (Quran 109:1-6) The message contained in these verses that were revealed during the earliest days of Islam constitutes the fundamental approach of Islam to diversity of religious beliefs.
. "O you who believe! Stand out firmly for God, as witness to fair dealings and do not let the hatred of a people lead you to treat them unjustly. Deal with them justly; it is closer to piety." (Quran 5:8) Respect for the dignity of human beings leads Islam to put an end to fighting as soon as the enemy declare peace: "...therefore if they withdraw from you but do not fight you, and (instead) send you (guarantees) of peace, then God has opened no way for you (to wage war against them)." (Quran 4:90)
Many Muslims who are motivated by what I call a “gang mentality” but the quran is clear , there is no ambiguity
2.281. And fear the Day when ye shall be brought back to God. Then shall every soul be paid what it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly.
2.286. On no soul doth God Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns.
Muslims either are ignorant of the relevant Islamic teachings or their political ambitions blind them to the clarity of those prophets teachings.
It is unfortunate that the 10% bad people get more coverage than the 90% good people. The 10% bad people are being propgated by social media and news channels when there is a lot of good out there which does not get a ear .

I met with two Kashmiris from PoK last week, and when I spoke to them in Kashmiri language they were nonplussed and said they only know Urdu, and even their parents who were born after 1947 do not know how to speak Kashmiri. However, both proudly said that their Grandparents can speak Kashmiri, and I felt sad to see the turmoil in their minds, while realising how Pakistan has destroyed the Kashmiri language in PoK.

    • @talwaar007

Well once IoK is liberated all will be well. And the reason they can't speak Kashmiri is because in Azad Kashmir people speak various Pahari dialects of Punjabi. Kashmiri language is only spoken in the vale of Kashmi - currently under Indian occupation.

My Muslim family is from a town named urri in Indian occupied Kashmir. They were living in harmony with Sikhs. In 1947 during partition there were riots. People of the town decided if Muslim group tried invading the town, then Muslims will stop them and if sikhs tried to invade then sikhs will stop them. Unfortunately one of our shitty relative murdered a Sikh. The news went around and the town got flagged as a must to invade place. The Sikh community told Muslims that they will try their best to stop invaders but they might not be able to withstand the numbers and higher temperament. So they advised Muslims to leave the town for their own safety.
Few bad sheep’s ruined it for the massive majority of peace loving people.
