This is on par with "Children of Tomorrow," "Part of each Other" and all the other great classics of the original. You can tell they really put their all into these episodes and it worked. This series really captures the spirit of the original even if it has some changes. I know they kinda wrapped things up nicely but I'm still hoping for a season 2
"You can NOT leave the magic." Ya know, I think I finally see it now. After 26 years...I never expected something like this. I had two VHS tapes as a kid. I didn't even know it was a multi-season series until much later. I grew up with this, even though I was born after it ended. Summer '92. It's so different from what kids watch now. I think, perhaps, this is the reason I have a gentleness that baffles a lot of people. Fraggle Rock was always magic. I'm overjoyed to see it return. I used to sit near any hole in the wall I could find as a kid, trying to see if I'd find any Fraggles. I'd lay out in the grass and just lose myself as my imagination ran wild. They were my friends and teachers before I even knew what that meant. All the lessons, I took to heart. There was never a moment that I felt was teaching me something wrong. It's good to see you again. Took me a while, but I get it now. The magic never left, it was always here. No matter how old I get, it'll never leave me. I forgot what it meant to 'dance my cares away'. I became an adult and forgot what I never thought I would. Truly, this is healing for my heart. *Thank you*

I love how they used junior in this version they show he has a very kind heart and doesn't actually injoy hurting others but is being pressured by pa to be this way so it makes this scene has have so much more power to it

His nose overlapping his mouth allowed us to imply a smile.😀 It was super important for me to make him more approachable and sweet.
@314walker ABSOLUTELY! I studied Richard's work, not exclusively Junior, but across the board in Fraggle, Muppets and Sesame to understand his sensibilities. I found a few interviews with him and found that helpful. I recorded and played back to get close to his tone, cadence, and pitch, but ultimately wanted to understand who Junior was. After all of that preparation, and meeting with pals like Kevin Clash, I gathered the best advice that I've ever gotten, "You're never gonna be Richard, the best that you can do is be honest with your performance and trust your prep to honor his legacy." I created a long backstory for Junior to justify why he is who he is and root him in reality. I'm happy where we (Ben Durocher, Junior's suit performer) landed with this iteration of Junior. A blend of Richard's kid and mine. I hope that you enjoy and understand him deeper.😊 It's a privilege to breathe life into him.

I would love to see a live performance of this song with the Fraggles singing it with all the other Muppets of The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Dog City, and well all the Muppet TV shows. I can just imagine Jim Henson, Richard Hunt, and Jerry Nelson waking up in their graves and tapping their feet to this song. I wish they were alive right now so they could’ve performed their characters in it. It’s a shame this show is a reboot. I’ll still say a continuation would’ve been better.
That's why I imagine thi🎉s fraggle universe is just an alternate one, rather than a reboot.. like the TMNT multiverse... that way somewhere out there the 80's Mokey still exists. And maybe one day they could have an episode where the two fraggle universes could somehow end up interacting with each other.

Two Funny Facts: the german voice actor of Junior is also the voice of Vincent D'Onofrio (Christian Weygand who also is the Dialog Director of the german version and big fan of the Fraggles). Second the voice actor Willi Röbke who voiced Junior in the orignal show, is now voice Pa Grog. (who was origanlly voiced by Herbert Weicker the Voice of Sir Christopher Lee)
and is almost the more normal compared to: Mythic Dragon,Talking Trash, Pet Plants, soup that makes you invisible or makes Gorgs Fly or just explodes, creatures that make Fraggles Smaller, a Wish Granting Genie, even the Fraggles themselves basically having to dance and sing so they don't fall into a Eternal Slumber and the Gorg's needing Radishes so they can continue to exist or be turned invisible XD i mean just a simple Mantis talking? thats the most normal you can get... tho a mantis that size, that i would find new
If it helps, we saw in the original series that the Fraggles, Doozers, and Gorgs live in a deeper symbiosis than they fully realize, so something that hurt 2 groups would inevitably hurt the 3rd as well eventually, so I would say that Junior did a good all around (even if Pa can't see it through the rubble of his fountain).
If they ever make a second season of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, they should bring back the following characters, Some of them with new voice actors if those already passed away: 1. Am I the only one who found the reboot a little lacking? Other than it being consistent with new characters (except for Cantus, the old series just had characters for specific episodes and then they dropped off the face of the earth) and a first meeting with Trash Heap and company (the old series showed how the fraggles first met the gorgs but not that) I was disappointed. I can live with Cotterpin Doozer being an adult and not an architect apprentice. I can live with old characters being replaced (Convincing John became Jack Hammer Doozer). And I can live with new Doc. But I still couldn't stop myself from screaming WHYYYYY internally at certain points in the reboot.

King Pa is not going to be happy. Wish there was some kind of effect on the Gorgs too that would have made Junior's actions truly beneficial to all.
