That's so crazy how they can pull out so many different attacks. Zero catching you with Shippuga was real impressive AI. Can't wait to fight them myself soon

I only play on PS4 but it seems like they key is to input for z saber then cancel it with dash real quick then back to z saber. Someone can correct me if there’s a better way cuz I’d like to know too.
So from what I'm seeing...yeah, if I wanna do X and Zero, do this on Legacy Collection 1, Iris+Double (ft. Colonel) seemed way more manageable than Gate+Dynamo (ft. Dynamo again). That said, I think my least favorite thing about the X Challenge is the lives system, as on hard mode the damage you do even with weaknesses can make things feel downright miserable in some combinations, and the idea of getting to the last fights with one life and having to do everything from square one simply because I didn't magically get my rhythm down on my first go around is a taxing one. Hell, if you run out of lives for X and Zero, you don't even get to try THEM again, which is just THE WORST. Especially with how hard, chaotic, and FUN that fight looks? I wanna lab that out for hours without clapping Double's cheeks a hundred times for the privilege.
I'm hyped for Mega Man 11, this collection made my last part of July and this month, very fun to play (and I finally managed to play X7 for the 1st time, but even if you're a veteran player, sometimes is better to start on default settings in terms of difficulty when you're a 1st timer on a game, I say that because I made the mistake of playing X7 on hard mode first, I enjoyed it playing it despite the crappy way it was developed).

I have a few questions: -How long does Chameleon Sting's charge shot last, and how many hits can I expect to land on Double while it's in effect? -Is there a trick to dodging Double's wide-beam waves? -Which wall is safer to hang from during Iris's solo fight? Sometimes Colonel's Energy Blighter and Iris's vertical beam happen at the same time and I don't know the safe spots.
I was thinking here and thinking about how they could have made Volume 2 work better instead of just a re-rash with the same bosses and stages with the exception of the final boss of each phase and all they had to do was to make Zero available in Volume 2. Since Volume 2 has X5-8 which all have Zero as a playable character, it would make so much more sense.

Honestly, Gate being such a wild card leaves things up to luck of the draw. If he decides to use his Red Orbs a lot, you're gonna be SoL since you lose inputs with that, including straight up losing a charge shot. In general, just having Chameleon Sting at the ready and getting rid of Dynamo ASAP is the best course of action, as Gate is not much of an issue by himself. Dynamo's ghost is not much of a hazard, especially since he doesn't have a hitbox. As for the 9-4 fight, no. The only way to do the fight is to go through stage 9 over again. No way to practice it. You gotta go from the beginning.

Considering that the most common way to beat 9-4 is through an AI loop, it is basically the hardest fight in the game. Especially since there's only 1 video out there right now beating them without abusing their AI, and it happens to be one of mine. And even then, that fight came down to the wire.

How the hell do they expect you to beat this through normal means? It's like a never ending barrage of attacks! I see that the strat involves the same sort of glitch in Zero's AI as in Stage 6-3. Is this glitch random like over in 6-3? It seems pretty consistent when he dashes to the corner here...
Every time Zero does the Earth Gaizer attack 3 times, he will dash away from you. So if he's in the corner and you're on the other side, he will keep dashing into the corner. X has no vertical attacks when he's above half health so he's no issue during this.
Really disappointing all you get a throwaway picture of iris. Is she even popular? And why did 4th armor X use charged ground fire from X5? Why not charged double cyclone from x4 where that armor came from? Capcom is so lazy.
