Hi George I'm tracking down your older pieces and I very appreciated your technique of tying with natural cord, hemp I would say which will rotting. Your singing birds are the same here some 1000 kilometers up and your cooking is the same, especially in part 2 the same like mine! You're blessed George with impressive skills, proper wood (recognize robinia and hazelnut), always modest ground to dig with plenty of clay around and I fancied the amphitheater for one man and one meal, wonderful sophisticated! God's Blessings from Northern Germany Ludwig.
In my area, this tree known as Robinia or locust tree is quite widespread. An interesting detail is that its flowers produce a delicious and appreciated honey with numerous benefits. Additionally, the hazelnut tree, another common species in Romania, contributes to the diversity of our natural landscape. I easily recognize them and appreciate their impact on the environment.

It's amazing that they can structure a building, mud it all, including mud on all sides of the fireplace , then light a fire and go to sleep.
I wonder how long that mud lasts around the fireplace for a worry free shelter :(

Но когда смотришь эти ролики про всякие стройки каких то укрытий в лесу раньше люди в этом возрасте строили для своих семей дома , а теперь какие то халупки не понятно для чего. По моему катимся в другом направлении, скоро будем превращатся в древних людей.

Looks really flimsy. Wouldn't trust string to tie sticks for long. It will rot. On a short structure why not use longer poles on a single ridge line. Larger footprint and stronger structure. The idea of building a tiny peaked roof on a small structure is a lot of extra cutting, tying for what? A tiny tiny interior floor space. Don't get the thinking behind this build.
