The map is so well made, it actually feels like the players were shrinked rather than map was strecthed, amazing.
I thought so too, tbh I still think they shrunk rather than map is bigger lol
They increased the width and height by 2 so the volume also had to be 2x bigger meaning the map is actually 8x bigger i think might be wrong but i think thats how it works

no. not at all. hammer (map editor for valve games) is from 1996. you cant just scale up a map like that. they either wrote a script to go through the map data and scale it all, or spend multiple hours doing tedious work in a 30 year old piece of software that barely works

Big map insertion would literally be impossible and so fun to watch.
The first few seconds of the video gave me an idea of a mode in which players press a button where they can shrink into 2x smaller and press again to become bigger like antman
