- Hello everyone! The 4Runner finally died on me the other day so I guess it's a good time to bring it into the garage and get things going on the build, this video I picked it up off the road with a trailer then went over all of the parts I will be putting into it. I also gave it a good deep clean with a pressure washer underneath. I will be doing a video series for this whole build, the next video will be the rear axle getting re-built. I definitely could use a bigger motor! But the gear change should be good enough for a couple years! Right on man!
The 22 is a great motor that is what I had in my first second gen runner turbo it lol

I can't find any parts for an 87 4runner on trail gear :(
Yea when you search 87 4Runner not much comes up. But they have IFS eliminator kit, that would work on your truck.... I got my rear suspension from low range off-road.
I got some new rear leaf springs off anathor toyota that I'm trying to replace the original ones with. We're having some trouble getting the old bushings out, we had to cut the springs off the other truck cus they're so stuck on these. Any suggestions on how to get those bushings out?
Are you trying to get the bolt out of the bushing you mean? If that’s the case, I struggled for quite a while doing the same thing lol. I was able to cut mine off since I was adding new ones.
