Note: Satan was not an Angel , he was a Jinn, a righteous Jinn before he became jealous of our father prophet Adam(pbuh) and became arrogant and disobeyed God.

To add to that, Jinns have free will just like Humans, but Angels do not! So it would be impossible for an Angel to disobey and why Iblees was able to do so.

In my military days, I read many different religious texts, anything and everything but the day I picked up an English translation of the Koran, all I did was cry - through pages after pages.
I cried too when I read the verses of hate towards non believers, about permissible wife beating, rules about adult men divorcing their infant/child wives, wives compared to fields and are to be ploughed at the whim of their husbands, Jews and Christians being the worst of creatures. It broke my heart that such evil is considered beautiful by ignorant people who are taken in by this deception. DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
This shows that your soul was seeking and knowing the truth all the time. Just your eyes and you heart were blind. Finally you found you destination.
Brother: There is one space in your heart which only can be filled with the love of the one allmighty god. When you don't fill it you'll never be truly happy. Thats probably also why people who own everything on this world are depressive or even kill themselfs.
This place cannot be filled with something else.
May allah guide us all on to the straight path and don't let us astray or do something which the wrongdoers do.
@@faithreasons3041???? Have you really read the Quran? You seem to be fallen a victim to those propogandas being spread against my religion. True, those verses are present in the Holy book, but one needs to know the events during which those verses were revealed to understand the context of it. May Allah guide you. For example, Quran doesnt say to hate jews and christians specifically, but Allah dislikes shirk and says that the disbelievers will go to the hell in general. christianity religion says the same thing about disbelievers and so such thing is believed in every sort of religion. Jews and christians are described as the people of the book(ahl al kitab) in Quran and they are not worst of creatures as you describe here as they are humans too like us and there are good people and bad people in every religion. There used to be good jewish communities during the time of prophet Muhammad SAW who used to coexist alongside the muslims under the protection of islamic empire and they were able to practice their religion freely even after refusing to accept islam. There is no compulsion in islam. Maybe you are reading the wrong or some other incorrect translations

@faithreasons3041 god is warning the disbelievers who reject the truth, if you didn't understand the truth then he is not talking to you. It has to br clear to you. If you reject the truth then you only have yourself to blame. This logic also applies to Christians and Jews who have seen the truth in islam but continue their disbelief in books that were changed by man.
The other points you made are clearly nickpicked or copied from muslim hating websites or preacher. It's too much to write on here. Your other points like wife beetjng was disproved or refuted many times by the muslims but those hater will still repeat those flase allegations and your not hearing the muslim side makes you one sided. So my recommendation is speak to a imam at a mosque about your misconceptions. You will be surprised by the response. May Allah,(one creator) guide you.

Reliance and faith in God is called Ta-wakal is when you know everything that is happening is with God's permission and you have trust in it that everything will be fine as long as you rely and believe in God which is observed in the story of Abraham AS. You said everything is good and be thankful for everything good and bad, we say Alhamdulilah in good and "bad" situations which means all praise and thanks is to God. Also God's will is Greater or God is the Greatest is Allahu Akbar. These are all words we say and attributes we try to exude everyday.

i'm a Muslim Guy And it's The 1st Time Watching This Whole "Purpose Of Life " Video i Saw Like a Little Bit Of It Recommended By My Brother in Work And Definitely Not Dissopointed it Answers Like Questions Of Life And What a Better Way Of Introduction ,invitation To Read This Magnificent Book Miracle On Itself "The Quran" For All Mankind.
Our Prophet (pbuh) said: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him, he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2999)
For the Muslim there are only two options: Sabr (in times of adversity), and Shukar (Thankfulness for the blessings we are having).
I was completely suprised to hear you suffering with incurable disease but You had a true faith and you never complained a sign of a man who believed in God, Big respect I'm a fan.

I was about to write the same thing as the comment below me. He was a jinn. Jinn roamed the earth and caused destruction and death long before we got here. That's why the angels were shocked that Allah was making another being with free will. All jinn have free will, just like we do. That was the only way iblis could refuse to bow. An angel can not refuse to bow. An angel has no free will. I'm hoping Allah leads these two to the right path inshA’llah. 🙏
I wanted to comment that also. Thank you for commenting this. I just want to add a little thing about Jinns, it's that the Jinns are intellectually a lot bellow than humans. That is the reason human are superior than them. Human has the immense gift of intelligence, knowledge and imagination with that we can reason our choices what the Jinns don't have. They can not deal with new knowledge, they can not create new knowledge, they just process whatever is given to them. Either they rebel or follow they have no middle ground.

The 8th rule you mentioned (everything that happens is good) reminded me of a Hadith. The Prophet ﷺ said: Wondrous is the affair of the believer, as there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone but the believer. If he experiences ease, he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him. If he experiences hardship, he remains patient, and thus there is good for him.

How can Mohammed be the greatest man in history? His name was Qutham, not Mohammed. That is a title meaning The Praised One and it refers to Jesus.

I really appreciate that you watched it all. I have watched it multiple times because it is so interesting and the points he raised are so genuine and his explanation is just awesome.
As a revert to Islam from Christianity, I can tell you that in Islam God's existence is both rational and evidence based and God (Allah) does not mind if any of His creations asking a question because God created us humans as an intellectual creature who learns and questioning is the basic part of learning, in fact you heard the discussion between Allah and the angels and Allah did not mind their genuine question rather He answered it in a way that satisfied their curiosity. If you read Quran, you will find other instances where even great Prophet Ebrahim (Peace be upon him) asked Allah questions despite he had one of the strongest faiths.
Furthermore, God in Islam is uniquely one, no children, no parents, no associates & partners and in fact nothing is like Him. Since God is the objective reality, so it does not rely on any subjective stuff like personal personal experiences which can neither be tested, falsified or even reproduced.
What beautiful lecture , and great rational listeners , i watched to this lecture several times, but this is the best, i love the intelectual way you analyze things with open reasonable minds and pure hearts , god bless your soul’s brother and sister ❤️ love you from Morocco 🇲🇦

The way I see it, what makes the believers the best creatures on the day of judgement, better than even angels, is that they had the choice to do otherwise but they chose to obey god and love him, whereas the other creatures do it by obligation

Quick Note: in we believe Angels never disobey god, they always follow god's commands. We don't believe that Satan was an angel who rebelled against god or anything like that. Satan/ Iblis is from Jinn (another creature of kind who like human can do right/wrong, and in this life they are like us ordered to believe and there are believers/disbelievers from them, and disbelievers will be punished etc...), at first Iblis was very pious that god raised him from earth to worship god with the angels.

Man its like this is the first time u came to the understanding that there is a religion out there that gives u all the answers to all ur questions n reinforces ur beliefs n experiences thru life n gives u in drpth knowledge of the most inner workings n reasons of the whole of creation n not jus the universe we see. This is the guide to all things given to us by God n the ppl in control hv created an environment around us that keeps us away from seeking knowledge from this book coz they afraid of it coz it might enlighten us. Most ppl dont know how to read or understand this book but its meant to b understood n read very carefully n pondered on very deeply.

I want to recommend that you read "The Clear Quran" Translated by Mustafa Khattab. Because it provides a background context to the verses.
