Every Polish wedding I went to was 3 days long. I dont remember the last 2 days
Mat Bledski That's completely bullsh***. From over 20 yrs 99% weddings in Poland takes ONE day and no more. Usually from ceremony around 2 or 3 pm up to morning next day. Receptions use to be for 100 to 150 people. That looks like 99% weddings in Poland.
andree2000 that bullshit all people I know who get married wedding last 3 -4 days,start on friday with socalled smashing plate/glass tradition,wedding celebrations Saturday,after wedding celebration Sunday and sometimes even Monday,all these days are included the wedding,traditions going over tiredness

completely bullsh***. From over 20 years 50-60% weddings in Poland takes no lenger then 1 day - correct " ...Usually from ceremony around 2 or 3 pm up to morning next day. Receptions use to be for 100 to 150 people." , 20-30% - 2 days, and 10-20 % ~ one week.
My wedding was modest and lasted 1 day, but the ceremony in the beautiful Church was stunning. I was at weddings in the years 1965-2014 - with family or friends who lasted several days or even a whole week. I was at a highlander wedding, to which in August 1976 almost 2,000 (two thousand) guests were invited - including 3 or 4 charter planes (I do not remember exactly) from the USA - waiting at the Balice airport (Cracow). Currently, weddings in Poland are much more modest - that's a fact (!), but in the opinion of foreigners - the most wonderful in the world.
on TH-cam you will find hundreds of clips from Polish weddings. These are not stagings, and still do not reflect the real mood of these wedding ceremonies.
Na youtube znajdziesz setki klipów z polskich weseli. To nie są inscenizacje, a i tak nie oddają rzeczywistego nastroju w czasie tych uroczystości weselnych.
Moje wesele było skromne i trwało tylko jeden dzień, lecz ceremonia w pięknym Kościele w Warszawie była oszałamiająca. Bywałem na weselach w latach 1965-2014 - u rodziny lub przyjaciół, które trawaly kilka dni, a nawet cały tydzień. Byłem na weselu góralskim, na które w sierpniu 1976 roku było zaproszonych prawie 2000 (dwa tysiące) gości - w tym 3 lub 4 smaoloty czarterowe (nie pamietam dokładnie) z USA - czekały na lotnisku w Balicach. Obecnie śluby w Polsce są dużo skromniejsze - to fakt, ale w opinii cudzoziemców - Najwspanialsze na świecie całym. I ja sie z tą opinią całkowicie zgadzam. W 1993 na ślubie przyjaciół w Konstancinie Jeziornej (ślub w Kościele Św. Anny na Krakowskim Przedmieściu) było wielu cudzoziemców (z USA, Kanady, Anglii, Francji, Niemiec, Szwajcarii i Włoch) - pamiętam ich wyrazy twarzy i nieustające pytania, typu - czy tu jakiś film fabularny krecą?.

@@ronnie7277 400? easly :D When you plan your wedding you have to count at least 1 litre per person :D Plus some "just in case" bottles, because vodka and food is very importand and it just can`t ran out during the wedding :)

This wedding is more of a western style, which now is very popular wedding trend in Poland. To see a real polish weddings - you would have to go back in time to the 90's, or even to the 80's.

Wcale nie mam bogatej rodziny, raczej klasa średnia a od kilku lat tylko takie wesela są urządzane.W większości sal można wybrać okrągłe stoły, zespół zagra taką muzykę o jaką poprosimy .Nie uważam żeby akurat to wesele w filmiku było super exclusive , dobry standard ale na pewno nie jest to nie wiadomo jakie bon ton ;)

It is true, in the film we can see modern polish wedding - popular, but modern. There is still many "traditional" weddings with disco polo music, bad singing band and (in my opinion) not nice games and show. But it is all about what Bride and Groom expect, not about the money.
Who said this is traditional wedding. Skip on dumb comments, read and listen with understanding.

You should see all the biggest cities in Poland - each one has beautiful architecture. And also nature in Poland (if you like visiting villages too), for example Mazury, Bieszczady (I'm sorry but I don't know English names) - you're gonna love it

Wszystko zależy od rejony kraju. Każdy rejon ma swój styl wesel. Pamiętam jak z Podkarpacia pojechaliśmy rodzinką na wesele kuzyna na Pomorze. Tamtejsi robili nam zdjecia jak śpiewaliśmy przy stole. Szok. Ale jak widać w niektórych rejonach wesele siedzące zakończone o północy to norma. U nas bardziej przywykliśmy do zabawy do rana i tak jak ktoś pisał wcześniej, często jest drugi dzień zabawy.
