- Taking our truck camper to new HEIGHTS. We had to check out this beautiful view at Cottonwood Pass in Colorado. We are living off-grid in the mountains of Colorado for the summer, working at a National Forest Campground.

Good morning, Ladies and Winston! I enjoyed your video full of friends, good food, and awesome views! I've finally got out of Florida and into the mountains 8 months now. We live in 4000+ ft above sea level in the Tularosa Basin, but the surrounding mountains we travel in are up to 10,000. It's so nice! Enjoy.❤
Colorado is soooo beautiful! While you're in the west, please try to visit Yellowstone. The thermal areas are unworldly and the entire Montana, Wyoming landscape is so huge and vast. Visiting the West was life changing for me. The further you immerse yourself into the wild, worrying about what you are wearing is only important if it's adequate for the weather. Loving following this job you gals have. You don't need the big agnes camper, especially in that environment, it's full of people craving raw nature. You're learning what you need and don't need to be happy. My initial trip spurred a desire to backpack, carrying your home on your back will smack you in the face quickly to make you realize that simple is better.

I make my honey mustard in mustard containers that are getting close to empty. I put a little vinegar (give a shake to dislodge mustard), oil, and a smidge, and I mean smidge of xanthin gum powder (it keeps the oil mixed with the rest of the contents) and of course honey. This combination keeps my beloved honey mustard dressing free flowing.

I love those two suggestion class C Broads has stickers for RVs. They sent me one. I love it. I put it on my RV. You and the Cummins campers need to get your own stickers, so people can get them from you and put them on their campers just an idea Colorado is beautiful I’m originally from Seattle, but I am retired and living by curiously through you girls I live in beautiful sunny Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Copper Mountain is absolutely gorgeous especially in the evening when the sun hits the top of the mountain. It looks like gold. If you get a chance you should try to visit.

Be sure you add Leadville to your weekend travels. It's the highest town in the USA with a lot of really cool history.
Don't mean to be a "debbie downer". Colorado is a beautiful place. Make sure you look after your truck. High altitudes such as this can change fluid dynamics. We were there 10 yrs ago. Our chevy 3500 diesel overheated multiple times traveling thru the mountains due to evaporation of radiator fluid. Exactly 1 month after returning to the flatlands of eastern north carolina the head gaskets blew. Luckily i caught it in time and they didnt need to be "re-bored". Still the "5k sting" was financially painful. Mechanic said it was a high probability it was related to altitude changes. I now avoid mountains. I'll drive to the base and look then turn around. I go to great lengths to avoid I40 in the mountains of North carolina. It is only 40 miles but i will drive as far south as Atlanta to avoid it. I know it doesn't make much sense but it does increase my anxiety. Have a great summer!!!!

My body and my vehicles don’t do well in higher elevations.
Years ago I traveled to higher elevations. I always felt off balance.
Takes Awhile to acclimate.
Even small mountains like Boone and Asheville mess up my inner ear.
Also affects baking and cooking directions etc.

We are loving it here! We typically use real plates and bowls, but paper plates come in clutch sometimes when we are conserving water, you are totally right.
