They are both great amps. Tommy used the AER for years, has to be a great amp. Now he uses the Da Capo, has to also be a great amp. So there you have it.. Lol
I had the AER Compact 60 and it was good apart from a tendency to sound too compressed at times. I sold it and now I'm looking at the Da Capo as it sounds as though that compression has been tamed somewhat.

Udo seems a lot more alive to my ears… definitely my weapon of choice I think! However I do like them both
yea aer is more balanced less muddy aer compact 60 sounds better
I love the 60/4, but it is lacking a bit in low end. I’m wondering if the 75 is a any better in bass response.
I would go with the AER 80, it sounds much better than either.
Da Capo has HPF for mic while AER does not. Effects are better on Da Capo. Da Capo seems brighter but less warm. Voice is clearer on Da Capo.
