Why don`t the driver of this crane stretch out the crane more? It is a big angle in the main boom. I will call it beginners fault.

Because it can reach sideways way more, and you can get in angels and most important, it can fit behind the truck
Way more versatile for odd job aka low roof or narrow spaces since it doesn't need a big counterweight on the other side
