I really like this one, just feels like a more realistic version of the Zombie Hunter Spidey. I'm glad I got my Zombie Hunter, I like the cartoony version of this suit more than the realistic one. This one is very nice though 😌
It's pretty much the Zombie Hunter suit from that What If? episode but without the cloak. If you collected the Lego Marvel blind bag minifigures from last year and you got a double of Zombie Hunter Spidey then you could just lose the cloak and it would be Avengers Campus Spidey.
I hope we get figures made of the final Spidey suit from the NWH finale act soon, it’s such a perfect suit and I’m surprised no company has made that suit in figure form yet, considering we have official concept art for it by now
I dont think we'll get merch of that suit since the only definitive look at it is either blurry, in-motion footage, or one piece of officially released concept art. The suit could change a bit between now and the next time we see it, the same way Pete's homemade costume changed drastically between Civil War and Homecoming. A company like Hot Toys that prides itself on being as accurate to the on-screen appearance of a character just isn't going to release a figure with such an up-in-the-air appearance right now.
I got this guy and I'm very glad I did. As you noted in your review, the pop of blue is amazing! I was a big fan of the Homecoming/Stark suit and I think the colors and minor tweaks on the D23 release make it even better. I much prefer the fabric to the rubberized suit that's on Zombie Hunter Spidey.
This suit does fit Tom Holland's Spider-Man for my perspective, I love how the spiders give off the classic look and they almost look like the spider emblems from Spider-Man 2 it would be cool if there was another version of this figure but with no web cartridges on the waist and the tiny web shooters like the ones on the upgraded suit from far from home, but overall I love how the figure looks
Maybe the second version of this guy could have magnets in the red on the waist for the web cartridges and three different web shooters like I said the tiny ones on the upgraded suit from far from home and the avengers campus web shooters

I always preferred this suit to the Homecoming suit, the chest symbol and patterns look much better to me. It would almost be perfect if it didn’t have the panel lines on it but that’s just me

Great review! The figure looks fantastic but with space and money limitations, the Classic Suit will continue to be my favorite Spidey (at least until the NWH Final Suit is solicited 🤞)
I think the "Peter VS Harley" thing is actually a reference to the WEB mini-series where Harley is a featured member of the team with a bit of a rivalry with Peter.
I wish those hot toys figures are bigger in size that only just 1/6 scale. Apart from collecting action figures, I also collect Integrity toys dolls, and anime figures. And when I display them together, the female fashion dolls are taller than my action figures.
Yeah you can buy and customize the Spidey boys. They come with different upgradeable pieces other pieces are different heroes gear. The web shooters are also sold at Disney, they do a stunt show that they use a robot in Spider-Man suit. I like the original suit with updated silver web shooters and Spidey logo.
I've heard a lot of criticism of the actual Avengers Campus itself at Disneyland but personally I really like it. I like the Doctor Strange magic show and the Spidey and Avengers stunt shows. It must be pretty fun to walk around and meet all the Avengers, particularly Scarlet Witch, the actress nails Elizabeth Olsen's mannerisms and physicality.
