Let's put The Ghost Herd Back in the Song. It's on the Original Writing of the Song, line 8, by Stan Jones in 1948. Only a handful of Artist have use this lyric in their Recordings. You have Ghost Riders Chasing "The Ghost Herd" in the Sky. Frankie Laines recording has this lyric in it. It's here on UTUBE. 😊
