Me too !! I actually regret not getting 2 of them because I didn't apply it as best as I could've (since it was my first time) and I put a clear case to protect the joycons but it ended up damaging the skin instead... but still, I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of it
As somebody who has put a couple different skins on my Switch Lite… girl you got skills lol. You made this look so easy and satisfying! I was on the struggle bus for sure when I did mine. Never thought of the heat took trick- that’s awesome! I find more uses for my heat took every day! Love the makeover! Love your videos!
it took me like 3 hours to put mine on….. granted i was eating in the middle of it and was super anxious that i would put it on wrong so it took me a lot longer to actually make the decision of putting it on, but either way my nintendo switch skin turned out a little wrinkled and uneven in some spots 🫠🫠
@@svgstarlight Mine has a couple wrinkles too, but they aren’t terrible or very noticeable. I’m sure some of it depends on what the actual manufacturer used.. I’ve had several on various Switches and some are way less prone to wrinkling.

thank you for clarifying the difference between your heat gun and a hair dryer! i would have thought a dryer was weaker and probably done it closer/warmer and risked damaging my switch/laptop if i ever applied a skin!

In my opinion, I feel like a plastic/silicone case is better and easier (+reusable!) because I feel like a sticker type of case is harder to put on (and I don't think it's reusable too, is it?)
The only thing that triggers me Abt sticky bunny is it's missing the piece on the device right above the charger port. That tiny little square bit that still shows the console color

tbh maybe it’s just me but ill prolly feel paranoid as hell not that i dont trust her, but anything could go wrong during customization or shipping that goes out of your control

Do they sell anything for the actual Nintendo Switch anymore? Personally idk why they made the Lite version where it completely undermines the whole purpose of the console’s intention. Basically it’s not even a switch coz you can’t switch anything.

tbh an easy way for me to get out the wrinkles without a heat gun is i took my lighter and i let the hot heat from above do it. i didnt put the flame directly on the skin or the switch

I think the case doesn't fit cause the original shell is warped from the device getting warm. My first grey switch lite had a sticky bunny co skin on and a clear shell that fit perfectly and then suddenly one day the clear shell busted open on the side and cracked and other clear shells required a lot of force for me to close it. Super weird.

Nope. Jump rings have two exposed ends, they overlap and create a spiral like a key ring. The one I showed is a split O ring.
