Why does Sonic collect Mario's power-ups, walk Mario's pipes, and kill Mario's enemies? They could also make a hero Mario and not Sonic, or make Sonic bonuses. NOT CANON!!!!
You know, because of the way the spindash works in this little game, they kind of unintentionally added a bit of DKC in there. Lots of potential for parts involving rolling over distances and through enemies.
Guessing the story is going to have to do with Mario/Nintendo being the owner of the "tower" that Sonic/Sega is trying to take down before Mario/Nintendo destroys Sega or something. XD
