100% agree with the loaner ship for the ironclad. Its very easy base model gets c2 assault gets m2. With this change you are getting ships that are at least almost at the same tier. The cat is a huge step down.

* The Reliant Sen is the small science ship. * The loaner for the Ironclad Assault (if you want to keep the Drake theme) should be the Caterpillar and the Cutty Steel. * For me, my Endeaver has the Telescope set-up (science-based) and the Medical modules (research-based). One module I think is overlooked by many is the extra fuel tanks. CIG said that all modules can be mixed and matched. You can even have three fuel tanks if you want for that " I Ain't EVER Going Home" ship.😁 * The 600i is the only ship I have bought three times. I CCU'ed two of them and felt so bad after doing it that I had to buy another to always have one in my fleet. Till some of my other ships come out, it is my current favorite ship (and they're not done with it yet). * The Merchant Man for next month would be wonderful but I feel more likely it will be the Railen that will be the big surprise for Alien Week. * For ground vehicles I have two must-haves in my fleet, the ROC and the Mule. The ROC for wipes, it is one of the few ships/vehicles that don't require anything extra to go out and make money. All other money-making vehicles require things like mining heads, modules, scrappers, etc. that cost money that you may not have after a wipe. The Mule I see it as being extremely useful in the incoming persistent hangar patch and because it is just so darn cute. 😆 Killer Whale here also, I have 44 ships. I am $500 away from Wing Commander and probably will get that with any of the new ships that come out at IAE. I have all the ships I need but I know that I won't be able to avoid buying the shinies that will be coming out. I did not spend all that at once, it took me six years of CCUs and melting to get the Fleet I have today. I went through a rough patch in my life when my wife of 42 years died. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Star Citizen (and my faith in G-d) taking my mind off my deep sorrow, I really do not know what would have happened to me. I love this game and it has surpassed every (favorite) game I have played in the past. Yes, I am a White Knight for Star Citizen.

Re: Loaners Star Citizen is about choices. To me the Ironclad, C2, and Hull-C are competitors of one another and offers twists to the same gameplay. Because of this, the open doors and tracker beams of the Cat is a smaller scale to the open roof and tracker beams of the Ironclad aka Fatapillar

If CIG wants to keep people buying new ships, I think they are going to need to create a management system to utilize ships while they are not in use. Like having NPC run a fighter as an escort for players and the owner of the fighter or dispatch your Orion to an asteroid field and have it physically go out to the spot and come back risking getting found by players. I also think that they could make a variant of the Orion as a mine layer. Its mining is used to restock mines and store them in the rotating containers. Use the nav bridge as the mine deployment center and use the drone bay as the mine recovery and deployment vehicles. Just put a massive railgun on it and you will have a heck of a speedbump.
The BMM is going to be my retirement ship, provided ten packages can be used on one account. Im pairing it with the Defender cuz I can have all the (current) Banu vehicles without grinding any rep.
Good stuff! Nice Fleet. I am interested in medical play as well and look forward to also providing high class tours and cruises of the moons to well playing customers (PC or NPC?) on an 600 or 800i. This game provides a bunch of potential for play styles.
A clarification, the Liberator landing pads are classified two XS topside & three XXS one front external and two internal behind the first There are lists out there of what fits on the various pad sizes. I just didn’t want someone listening to think all “medium” vehicles are transportable by the Liberator
I never thought how a nautilus would be useful for passive base defence, that's actually a great use. I love how it looks so I'm hoping for a cargo variant.
Regardless of your own personal cost ceiling, I think it's about having a goal or plan for what you want to get out of the game. What gives you the best platform to get amongst the game.
If the Polaris gets size 7 or size 8 guns, the Perseus will be obsolete. The Peseus Q&A states it will have very heavy armour but not as much as a Capitsl ship. CIG should change the armor to be way better than a Capital ship in line with the lore and up the armour even at the cost of shielding. I don't mind flying a brick so long as it can take a few direct Idris main gun shots to the hull.
I've got like $460 in the game I don't put any new money in the game but I melt stuff down all the time and swap it for different stuff and try to try all the ships that I can afford that's under that price

The Reclaimer makes sense if for nothing else than “gathering” resources to use for your building game play. Because of the scale of your building, you’ll want the larger Reclaimer instead of the Vulture, but I am curious how you envision crewing your vehicles?
The BMM is a very nice capital, but I'm a fan of any alien ships. But let's see the utility, depending on its defensive capabilities, the BMM will be a prize for the pirates in the verse.
Wing Commander is at the $10,000 USD Pledge amount. You should have gotten your F8 in your hanger when they released them to those backers that had met that Pledge Threshold. I got mine on November 27th 2023 at the same time they released the GOLDEN Ticket deal they did back a few months ago. Careful on that Liberator “replacement”. Lot of people haven’t looked close. The Liberator is longer than the Ironclad. So length of the ship is 3 ships long on pads. If you put ships in the hull of the Ironclad, height is your problem as it fits 2 levels of 32SCU cargo containers. A Cutlass Black is possibly too tall for inside the Ironclad more than likely. As well, ships take up A LOT of space for cargo. I bet 1 ship takes almost half your cargo space. This is also proven that most ships are wider than 2 Tonks. 2 Tonks is the width of the ship. Again… I’m betting other than some very small ships…. 2 is your max. While the Liberator will have 3 ships, 2 large vehicles, and still carry 400SCU. I think people are dreaming when it comes to what an Ironclad will carry regarding ships. If they even lock down…. Also if I add 2 Hurricanes on my Liberator…. I’ve added 2 quad turrets. We’ll see and I could be wrong but I think a lot of people are gonna have regrets over using Ironclads in a carrier role. Also, 100% with you on the Nautilus. You are the only other person I know that has one. We should meet up and lock down Grim Hex some day. 😂

Pulse, X1 Force, Lynx, Nursa, Mustang Beta, C8R, Vulture, Railen, Corsair, Carrack all LTI. Pulse only hover bike with size 2 weapon. X1 Force only hover bike with shields. Lynx is cool don't judge me. Nursa for obvious reasons on the ground. Mustang Beta is nimble, livable, log out capable fun to fly while being useful for scouting. C8R for obvious reasons in small ship form. Vulture for salvage solo. Railen for cargo but hopefully as cool as the Syulen in style. Corsair for so so much especially with the Nursa in the back. Carrack if it ever gets the features that are promised it will be S tier. What are your thoughts?

I want solo time for sure but being in an Org that runs multiple ships and has a group of players who work together to mine, salvage, raid, explore, all of it really sounds fantastic. I am a small business owner and a single father so my time is stretched in lots of directions but I still want to participate as often as I can. The ships I have are not for collection just to collect but to play. I want to take the X1 Force into a bunker with a couple of other guys to see if the shields work to protect against small arms fire. I want to do other odd stuff for fun as well. If you have any insight into my selection and vision for my particular gameplay let me know for sure.
Well you mention mining, salvage, raiding and exploration so we'll use those as the primary goals. I would say keep the Carrack as it will be a top 3 exploration ship, Keep the Corsair because it can kill nearly anything in front of it and carry every vehicle you have. I would melt the Railen or Vulture and buy a Reclaimer especially because you have friends you can play with. you can earn the vulture in game fairly easy for the solo gameplay aspect. You don't need both the c8r and nursa at this point in the game so I would go with the Nursa and pop it into the back of your corsair when necessary. You're lacking a decent cargo ship to move things around from base to base, I would go with the Zeus CL which loans you a C1 Spirit, unless you don't mind sizing up because the Constellation Taurus is the better purchase in that case. keep the pulse or the x1 but not both, figure out if you prefer the weapon or the shield, me personally I prefer the shield. but the pulse fits in a lot of things. Upgrade the one you don't choose to a prospector for that solo mining gameplay. Keep the lynx because you clearly like it and that matters, and upgrade the Beta to an Arrow, Gladius, Hawk, or Talon depending on your budget and style. That's my advice!
I don't think there's ever going to be an opportunity to own entire planets, the goal is 100 star systems, that be less then 400 planets, which I don't think they will reach seeing how long it takes to create a second star system
I suppose my idea is to own so much land on a planet that I "own" it the same way in real life certain corporations own small towns. But I never realized how few planets that is. Even if you're off by 300 and it ends up being 700 planets I dont think I would own one outright.
If the Pioneer can build a space station then it can build space ships. 'Cause a space station is just a ship that doesn't move _much_. Other than Quantum drives, all space stations have all the same components.
The Merchantman is going to be fricking huge!! Orion is going to be crazy, I’m just wondering where you would park it? 😂 I feel like a lot of people are underestimating the features of the Nautlis, it will come in super handy in the future once they update mining and make it a profitable game loop. I feel like the A2 is a bit OP now because of engineering.. Was testing it out in Arena Commander and it really can withstand some blows. The Pioneer will be such a cool industrial ship.. It’s going to be insane, base building is going to be amazing!! This is when other game looks start tying into each other e.g. going to correct materials with your Nautilus in order to build your base. Now that’s a huge armada.. 8k!!??!?! Damn, that’s a lot. My limit is probably going to be $300 USD, since I don’t even live in the US, every thing is much higher price. (AUD) Great video O7
It's the only ship that I'm looking out for. I just have too many ships that do it better than the redeemer. If I have two people I prefer to take two separate ships a heavy fighter and a light or two mediums. If I have three people I do more damage in a corsair. If I have four people then my A2 or valkyrie becomes viable.

F8c is at 10k not 8 I believe/last time I checked, I’ve spent over 8 so would be very happy I I got it earlier than I thought Also I know what you mean about the nautilus I got shamed into getting rid of mine

If you’re using the medical module, it has an elevator for the nursa, so you can have a c8r and nursa at the same time

You're lacking a decent cargo ship to move things around from base to base, I would go with the Zeus CL which loans you a C1 Spirit, unless you don't mind sizing up because the Constellation Taurus is the better purchase in that case. keep the pulse or the x1 but not both, figure out if you prefer the weapon or the shield, me personally I prefer the shield. but the pulse fits in a lot of things. Upgrade the one you don't choose to a prospector for that solo mining gameplay. Keep the lynx because you clearly like it and that matters, and upgrade the Beta to an Arrow, Gladius, Hawk, or Talon depending on your budget and style. That's my advice!
I get the caterpillar for the regular ironclad, but the assault should either get a second ship or something a bit more then a caterpillar

I don't think there's ever going to be an opportunity to own entire planets, the goal is 100 star systems, that be less then 400 planets, which I don't think they will reach seeing how long it takes to create a second star system
I suppose my idea is to own so much land on a planet that I "own" it the same way in real life certain corporations own small towns. But I never realized how few planets that is. Even if you're off by 300 and it ends up being 700 planets I dont think I would own one outright.

If the Pioneer can build a space station then it can build space ships. 'Cause a space station is just a ship that doesn't move _much_. Other than Quantum drives, all space stations have all the same components.

Orion is going to be crazy, I’m just wondering where you would park it? 😂 I feel like a lot of people are underestimating the features of the Nautlis, it will come in super handy in the future once they update mining and make it a profitable game loop. I feel like the A2 is a bit OP now because of engineering.. Was testing it out in Arena Commander and it really can withstand some blows.
The Pioneer will be such a cool industrial ship.. It’s going to be insane, base building is going to be amazing!! This is when other game looks start tying into each other e.g. going to correct materials with your Nautilus in order to build your base.
Now that’s a huge armada.. 8k!!??!?! Damn, that’s a lot. My limit is probably going to be $300 USD, since I don’t even live in the US, every thing is much higher price. (AUD)

I'm surprised you didn't pick up a Redeemer, ultimate small crew combat.
It's the only ship that I'm looking out for. I just have too many ships that do it better than the redeemer. If I have two people I prefer to take two separate ships a heavy fighter and a light or two mediums. If I have three people I do more damage in a corsair. If I have four people then my A2 or valkyrie becomes viable.
@@billionaireninjas it might be worth it though because of modularity instead of flying separate ships. I picked it up for a different playstyle then yours though, Bounty Hunting. Your playstyle makes sense as well.
I think the Redeemer works best fully crewed but It's definitely a viable option with 2 folks
F8c is at 10k not 8 I believe/last time I checked, I’ve spent over 8 so would be very happy I I got it earlier than I thought
