Thats a great question. I did include the air root in the planted but not sure if it helped.. because no new roots formed off the air root. Maybe it did help keep the cutting hydrated. Thank you for asking and thank you for watching
Thank you for asking. The benefit to removing the graft is that the tree will look more natural over time. No horticultural benefit tho. Grafts create trunk markings where the connection is made, and are always usually visible. This tree had two grafts, and both were and eye sore.
It is not necessary or beneficial for the health of the tree. It is an aesthetic choice .. do you like the top of your tree? There are no guarantees the tree will survive a pruning/cutting operation. For me, i didnt like the top, so i carefully cut it off. I cut both off slowly over time; First cut video -> th-cam.com/video/3dS25Z8lMy8/w-d-xo.html

What is the stuff you put in the truck where you made the cut?

What’s the point of removing the grafted head ? Tree wasn’t pretty in the beginning but result looks uglier afterwards …
Thats a great question! Grafts vary in quality; most arent pretty close up-This graft was especially obvious. thank you for watching
What is the benifit of removing that dear friend?

O que é isso que ele está usando pra colar onde fez o corte na Ficus ?
Its a beeswax salve. I dont recommend it on ficus. latex based sealers are more accepted by ficus.
What species of ficus is the grafted portion?
Ficus microcarpa or known has ficus ret7sa and chinese fig😊
What did you put on the wound?
its no secret. beeswax salve. i would not recommend on ficus tho bec rubber latex is far superior.
Why you grafted it if you wanted to remove it
i agree! i purchased it with the graft already. its hard to find Ficus ginseng without grafts. thank you for watching!
OHh I understand😊
👍 This dwarf variety of ficus plant is extremely beautiful.
i appreciate that message☀️
