    • INSIGHTS ON INTERBEING...
Cynthia Bourgealt is a modern-day mystic, Episcopal priest, writer, and internationally known retreat leader. She divides her time between solitude at her seaside hermitage in Maine, and a demanding schedule traveling globally to teach and spread the recovery of the Christian contemplative and wisdom path. She has been a long-time advocate of the meditative practice of Centering Prayer and has worked closely with fellow teachers and colleagues including Thomas Keating, Bruno Barnhart and Richard Rohr. She has actively participated in numerous inter-spiritual dialogues and events with luminaries and leaders such as A.H. Almaas, Kabir Helminski, Swami Atmarupananda and Rami Shapiro. She is a member of the Global Peace Initiative for Women Contemplative Council and recipient of the 2014 Contemplative Voices Award from Shalem Institute.

"We can't disregard energy. We can't disregard the life force that runs through; our connection with humanity, our connection with all sentient beings. We think we can cut ourselves off from the lifeforce, and just observe it and talk about it? We're fools." Wow. I'd like to carry this gem with me.

One of the most brilliant talks I've ever heard. The most essential truths, condensed. Our whole world would profoundly benefit from hearing and understanding this message.

  • @Magik1369

Being is precisely what you are. There is no separation between Being and True Nature or Soul.

A useful aide to achieving this style of being is Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now. It teaches how we can just live in THIS moment. This stops us dualising, because past, future, wants, fears, shames etc cannot exist in THIS moment. It brings great clarity and helps one to taste and savour each and every moment we are given and be more in tune with truth.
