LB bar is the 3 ticks underneath the LB button. And for targeted healing/raising, at around 4:03 on this video (about 1:31 of the actual gameplay trailer) during one of the WHM cuts you can see the WAR in the party list has a highlight around them which I assume means the WHM has them targeted. My guess would be you just tap on them in the party list to target them directly. Edit: Hah, I should watch the full video, I see you found the LB :D
Think of the attack button more like your 123 VS an auto attack. It will not be exactly the same but similar, with healers just casting a attack spell.
So looking at the skills in other videos... instead of cure just existing, it can be targeted or heals the lowest health player on use, and its a cd. Thats the thing i like about this is all gcds are now ogcd (outside of blm but you can swap into casting or using your basic attack). Like theres so many good changes to this... and... glam is more transmog than xiv
My console and computer already struggle to run a smooth connect even with limited effects showing up, I can scarcely imagine how my phone or iPad are gonna try to handle this.
Am I correct in assuming that this ARR release is based on the state of the console/PC game (i.e. revised Castrum and Praetorium)? None of the multi-job requirements and such from "Vanilla" 2.0? I would love if they'd make rogue available for 1-30 right at launch so all you have to do when 2.4 comes is pick up the ninja job quest. As a Shadowbringers baby I'm also a little bummed I won't be able to pick up Samurai at 50 but I get it.
Honestly, FFXIV PC visual quality is very low compared to these days mobile games, it wouldn't be much challenge to bring it to mobile with almost the same visual fidelity.

Or that it has to handle many spells and enemies on-screen at once? I'm not saying FFXIV looks the best, it doesn't, but calling it "low quality" is insane. It won't have single-player quality graphics
I might get some hate for saying this, but whenever the mobile version catches up fully to PC (mobile is stuck on ARR at launch I believe) it'll be the premier experience. It doesn't have spaghetti code holding it back.

They dev this mobile version for 5 years and came out with full of QoL that we've been asking for years.
Don't care about mobile at all! How about they take the money from Mobile & actually make great current content & storyline for the game to bring people back! NO to anything Mobile! FFXIV is DEAD to me for now, I might come back if they decide to wake up & make good content again!
It's a different studio not Square Enix. Square Enix is not putting money and resources into the mobile game. They just licensed the story and assets, also doing a small amount of oversight.
they actually got paid to make this by another company since they had to license out the assets to be used, they are just promoting it since I'm sure they get a cut of the profits and its in their best interests and mobile gaming is the future its like 90% of gaming in Eastern cultures and produces so great games with amazing stories you really need to get off this mobile games are bad high horse its not 2010 anymore technology has improved and gaming markets are shifting
How about you do some research about this game before throwing around a childish tantrum. And after that do some research about game rights too. If you did you would know that: 1 - Lightspeed Studios are the developers of this game, not SE. 2 - To be able to use another franchise rights the developers had to pay the owners of that franchise, which means SE received money for this game. 3 - The developers are the ones in charge of developing the game (obviously) which means that the money wasted on development it's Lightspeed money, not SE. 4 - The developers have sent early builds and even shown their last build to the FFXIV team so they can see if the game development is going well and advise them on some subjects. A little research and you would have avoided throwing such a tantrum
if you did some research about this game instead of complaining about topics you know nothing about, you would know that there's no gacha in this game and that the developers have no intention of adding gacha to it.

That PLD has a Queuing icon as well which is interesting considering they're already in a duty

Single target heals are there. But with smart heals incorporated into it, if nobody is targeted, the heal will auto target the most injured.
