Thank you for sharing this!!! I was told from my regular vet last June that our Bella had an enlarged heart (causing collapsed trachea) and didn't prescribe anything. She recommended going to a cardiologist, but we had our concerns about the stress of the tests alone being too much for our old girl. I also noticed that the same meds seems to be prescribed for every heart issue. I was already feeding whole, homemade food, with some supplements, due to MCTs. After much research, I added heart supplements (that you mention) along with dandelion leaf/root and our girl hasn't coughed since and has been doing well. It's always scary to know if you're doing the right thing, so it's so wonderful hearing this great information.

How much dandelion are you giving her? What is her size? We have a samoyed that weighs 48lbs and need to get some

@@susiezampatti7757 I really can't say because I chose to just get organic dandelion leaf/root in tea form. My girl is only 15 lbs and I sprinkle some on her food. I could probably be giving her more, but at this time, she doesn't seem to need it. I know you can use liquid forms as well. I would suggest searching online. There are probably herbalists that can give proper ratios to pet weight. Sorry, I can't be of more help.

Taking notes like crazy. Finally found a homeopath in my area instead of driving for 3 hours. My dobe has 2 traits in DCM2. He has had yeast skin problems since I got him as a puppy. Was part owner while he showed and he got over vaxed. Doing everything I can to get him back to health and save his life. IF ONLY I could have found you before my last male dobe passed at only 6 1/2 years old. These last few days of videos have been so helpful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Thank you so much for such an educational experience! Yes I have a boxer but she is fighting hemangiosarcoma; but since I have always been a health nut because I am in the healthcare profession for humans I have always taken supplements and vitamins throughout my life! So why not our dogs& humans use more holistic integrated medicine for both! Now I will add what suggested to make sure my baby will never have a heart condition! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart! Love the education I have received since finding all of you! Too bad you don’t treat humans!❤❤❤

I harvest organic dandelion in my natural, untreated back yard and add it to my Cavalier’s batches of food as I make it. But I’m never sure how much I should add. I also freeze it to use in the winter months but I’m not sure if the nutrients are damaged in the freezing process. Is there such a thing as too much or too little fresh dandelion?

My 15 year old Dachshund has been through the wringer. At 6 she got IVDD. Put her down, an er vet said. I said no.
I did 4mo of hard crate time and anti-inflammatory meds, some pain meds, and bought my own red laser therapy wand.
    45 min a session x 4 times a day.
She hasn't had an issue, it's been 8 years almost 9.
    That was 2017.
Then she had some Tenacious "G" type things (Her name is Gracie hence the G, haha) dug up cat poops burried and stones stones stones omg the xrays were mortifying.. Double stomach surgery. She got pancreatitis with the healing and later....
The Dr I will speak about who is an angel, let me know they sent her home to me wrong which took time, but essentially caused the hernia.
She does now have one again, but soon you will understand why that's the least of my worries.
    It's well watched haha.
    That was 2018.
Then..... The hernia occurd on the day before my birthday March 19th 2021.
We had just had her under for an under the skin "glacier" type but showing on skin removal and teeth cleaning for good measure since she was already under.
So the hernia happens as she's still in a cone from the glacier like cyst. She was under etc...
My wonderful angel vet, albeit now lives across the country waaaa, opened her up to fix it and found a liver that appeared like an egg beater ground most of it up.
He shot some photos for me and closed her up as fast as possible. Couldn't believe she made it through being under just a couple weeks before and his.
    My point is.
    She was 12.
    Survived so much already...
    To hear this.
He gave us what he had at the office and where to get it when we ran out... Hoped for the best 3 to 6 months.. Happy Birthday to me. I'm gonna lose my Gracie Girl and I promised her a Good, Good life.
    (Her song and mine).
    "Yunnan Baiyao Jiaonang"
I call it our "Ancient Chinese Medicine".. Haha.
She has since taken one a day and she's standing right next to me, right now.....
Looking at me because I pulled open her vitamin bin to spell our Ancient Chinese Medicine right for you guys, hahahaha like, "hellooooo that bin means chomp chomps"! Haha.
Vets that see her now cannot believe she has survived terminal non operable liver cancer...at that stage, March 2021.
    Tenacious G...
And she is now just starting to show her age... like most Dachshunds or any dog, really, with those long backs and lil legs..
    And being an IVDD survivor....
    Liver Cancer terminal...
    Cat Poopie Snack Surgery...
.. I think they think I'm some kind of magical witch hahahahaha. Nope. Gracie is just Gracie. I've never once (myself) have heard her whine yelp any vocalized pain... Strong as nails. But makes it hard for Mamma to know what's up.
    So please. Internal bleeding....
As her liver was fixed temporarily with mesh when he closed her up but her belly was filled with blood when he did open her which pushed the hernia from a bached double stomach surgery, years prior for eating Burried Cat Poopie Treats.
It's literally a pill they used in war in China.
We get it in an area that is a very heavy Chinese culture so no English on the box...but the below:
    YUNNAN BAIYAO JIAONANG.
I wish I could post a photo. :/ but I am sure you can look it up.
    It says:
Dispersing blood stasis and hemostasis, activating blood circulation and alleviating pain, detoxification and promoting subsidence of swelling, used in treatment for traumatic injury, stagnated blood, hemoptysis, hematochezia, hemorrhoid hemorrhage, metrorrhahia and metrostaxia, suppurative infection on body surface and pyogenic infections, contusion of soft tissue, closed fracture, hemoptysis of bronchiectasis and pulmonary tuberculosis, hemorrhage of peptic ulcer and infection disease of skin.
Whew. Hahaha. That's the only English on this box and typed it all out with too long acrylics haha but if I can help one person, with Gracie's story, I've kept my promise of a "Good Good Life" when I adopted her at a year and a half old.
Thank you for your channel! I'm so happy to find you!
And I hope my info helped!!!!!! ❤

    Hi,
My 9 yr old chihuahua has stage 2b heart disease. Her lungs have no fluid. She’s not coughing. I have her on RX vitamins for her heart and co enzyme q10 100mg daily. She does have a ruptured chordae tendinae. they want to start her 0.25 mg of pimobendan I’m a little hesitant as I don’t want her to get worse on it, or should I incorporate the pimobendan with the herbs. Is there anything else I could add to her vitamin regimen to help her live longer. They give her 3-5 yrs.
    Thanks

Thank you Dr Judy. May I please clarify - is it okay to generally supplement dogs for their genetically predisposed “ailments” even if they as yet do not show signs or symptoms of having contracted them? Or does this depend on the supplement type? I presume CoQ10 is one of those that is fine to supplement from a young age without any symptoms or signs as per your discussion.
Grateful for all your work. I’m really learning as much as I can, aided largely by the work you do.

This video couldn't have come at a better time! I need guidance for my 11- year old, 7 lb chihuahua, Luke, was just dx w/heart murmur (scale of 1-6, Luke's heart was at 5), and Vet said he is stage B2 (significant) with congenital valve disease? Luke just went through all the blood/x-ray/echo testing 2 days ago and will learn more dfinitive results next week. I was scrambling to write down notes while the Vet was speaking. Vet is writing a prescription for me to pick up (can't remember the name of it). I'm loving everything being said in this video and need to find out what Chinese herbs and/or CoQ10, or other supplements I should be giving Luke, and the recommended dosage amounts. Also want to get the best possible whole food recipe for Luke, as well. Thank you so much for any assistance, where I need to start.
