LOL Crazy Rich Asians caused me a bit of explaining to my American in-laws and acquaintances that - no we don't all live like that nor do we party on a container ship in Singapore. Most of us take public transport and ummm...there are no mahjong dens that I am aware of. One thing I couldn't get over was the actor who played Nick had this strong British accent while his mom, Michelle Yeoh, spoke with a strong Malaysian accent. And the whole premise of Michelle's character not liking Rachel was because she was Asian American "banana" but then Nick comes across as more British Chinese than Singaporean.
I can fully relate to what lery was saying about singapore in the beginning of the video. Singapore looks like a better managed manila!
