I started watching your vids when 4.4 drops. I came back at 4.2 after taking a break at 3.X and never knew speedrunning was a thing. I feel deeply motivated by your runs and started to speedrun myself. Watched every run from the channel so far (my favourite is 4.4 2 cost run). You and Nashi showed a different way to play the game, so thats a new world to me. I understood the harsh stress from speedrunning the moment i tried it. it took me over 800 retries to get a normal run for 1 chamber which is like 6 hours for me. The dopamine hit is real after hitting a good run but in the end whats there to celebrate? Its sad to see you go but goodluck on your Osu! arc (dont delve too deep into their community, theres alot of drama). Hope you will come back in the future, not as a speedrunner but as a normal guy trying to enjoy the base game with its archon quest. You will always be my favourite internatter. o7 king

I quit genshin a while ago and then came back because like you, i got super burned out by the grindiness of it all. I don't know where you find enjoyment from the game and its not my place to tell you, but having recently came back, the new content + stackable commision point system revamp + artifact creation is making it a breath of fresh air and i can start to play for fun rather than play for logins/commissions. If you find enjoynment from the game other than speedrunning, i think you'll be pleasantly surprised to come back to the game whenever you're ready.

While I never speedrunned for real, 8/15 seems really important and it being RNG just sucks, and I really understand that I wish there was more combat content available for Genshin but they don't seem to care because we're minority unfortunately... Honestly, even just being free to chose any card would improve this by a lot or maybe if speedruns didn't allowed offensive cards to be used or it would increase the cost etc. I hope you manage to stay free from gacha hell completely and enjoy the life more we'll be still here for you 👋

I mean, i know you said no Gacha (which is honestly a correct decision)... but maybe try Wuwa? It kinda improved all those frustrating things from Genshin. Just play casually, don't force yourself to log in, and don't spend to get attached.
I will not. Sure it might be better, but I don't want another game that forces me to log on every day and that makes me have to save up months for a character. Sure it might be cooler, but I learned my lesson here lol
yeah it's extreme I know, but a middleground wouldn't have changed much I was already playing the least possible, last 2 abyss I barely made any runs compared to older ones where I was cooking them out 24/7 I could have just done cardless runs or lowered my standards, but that's not something that my ego would allow lol
