Josh, we have a lot of pilots that live in the Atlanta area. If you have real interest in becoming a hang gliding pilot, you should seriously consider it. A tandem flight is a great introduction to free flight, but it is SO MUCH more fun and rewarding as a solo pilot. Take the time to do Lookout’s weekend introductory package and come hang out with everyone up on launch on a good soarable day and ask lots of questions.
I had no idea there was aerotow there. I've only seen videos of the mountain foot launch. I've even met the owners of the flight park earlier this year at Wallaby Ranch Hang Gliding in Davenport Florida. They never mention that there was aerotowing there.
