      OMG you are so right! Just by changing the shape to a leaf instead of a circle, it would make the perfect Fall leaf! Thanks for sharing that tip!

    Your videos are very quickly addictive. Thank you for being so easy to follow and understand. Due to some health issues, I sometimes have issues with critical thinking/following directions, keeping attention span, etc. I haven't had those issues with your videos and that is more of a blessing than you can know. It helps me to not get exhausted quite so quickly and allows me to get more done. Thank you so very much!

    Cindy I just did this cane thanks so much it's so kool I do have a question I tried silk screen with Mica powder but I'm having trouble with the Mica powder after its baked it wants to rub off... When i go and put the varathane over it it comes off what am I doing wrong

    • @PolymerClayTutor
      @PolymerClayTutor  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is probably just that some of the powder is still lose and not really stuck to the clay. Does the pattern completely come off or is there just a little powder coming off into the glaze? You could try dusting off the excess before glazing. Or you could lay a sheet of parchment over the clay and make sure it is embedded into the clay better before baking.

    I've been having a LOT of trouble recently with small cracks all over any pieces I make. I make 5" scale figures that have separate moving parts that are assembled after they cool down. They are made of premo and I really love the stuff, but I have no clue what I'm doing wrong. This has be going on for almost a year now. I don't know whether it's a lack of plasticizers, too many plasticizers, bad/not enough conditioning, not letting them bake long enough, etc. It's been really depressing to work on a figure for a day and find out an hour later that it was destined to crack. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I Love your videos, I have been trying to learn polymer clay tennis for the longest time. My biggest challenge is the fact that I can only use one hand as a result of a stroke when I was 26.For instance, lately I have been using your teardrop technique and when it comes to holding the clay when it's going down the pasta machine is tends to go sideways so I stop, sorta move it back with my good hand but that usually tears my clay.Do you have any ideas on how to do this without it tearing?

      Resin is the best way to get that thick glassy look. You can also use liquid clays, and glazes but it won't be as thick or as clear.
