Looks great so far! I'm a fan of the little tower. :D I haven't played the game yet, but is there a way to layer the vertical walls with some of the railings to create an interesting pattern? If so, it might be cool to create a big mock window behind the throne. Maybe a vault or a secret passage/escape tunnel in all the extra basement space?
cant do that when you're that high off the ground the scroll wheel only works on the inital ground placement not 5 blocks up attached to a larger building it would be nice though
same prob he showed in game it will be at ceiling height because of the snap mechanics in the game he tested the idea with walls and it didnt go well if you noticed
My suggestion would be to build the Yog (the big fire pit) shrine inside where the thrones are and build a similar half circular platform around it with stairs on either side. The two thrones sitting overlooking the fire pit. Behind the thrones, a large outside gate leading onto a balcony. You can keep the gate doors open (?) to get the panoramic view or close them for the storms. Remove some of the second floor catwalks because it cramps the building and it is a security risk for the king. Behind the throne, scatter trophies perhaps mount the flags on poles on either side of the gate. I think it would look great in the dark. My two coins... love the build so far.
I still think the watchtower should be entirely walled at the base and have a single balcony at the top. The ones sticking out of the side look really weird. And what about having a little sunken garden in the square perhaps? Anyway, amazing work as always! ;)
I LOVE the little tower! So many unique features in the village, it looks like it for sure belongs there! And you need to fill the basement with wine barrels because it would just look like a great added detail for a wine cellar. Ii love it all, its AMAZING! OHHH An oubliette for thralls would be EPIC!
I think you can make a balcony behind the throne use a big doubledoor. You can throw the traitors or enemy leaders down from there. Like "This is SPARTAAA!" :D
That Throneroom looks Hardcoreamazing!!! And i love that little Tower for the Guards close the entry cause the shape is freshening it up. Stands out of this 'house -shape ' thing.. Don't know how to say...
If you put the throne or those royal seats higher a bit to appear superior to the rest of the room, it will make a great difference. Basically in ancient times, the leader always has he's seat higher then the others to show the rank.
Holy Crap! This build is amazing. Wheels of pain under the throne room is a GREAT idea! You should get all of the gang to come fill up the throne room with a dedication ceremony when its done.
Hi, put those big decorative heads behind the throne, if you make wall behind the throne. And what comes to the little tower, make it higher. It would be good for the king's guards. =)
For the tower you should take the thatch roof off, build a room that has a base one bigger all around than the tower, then put the thatch roofs connecting the two but have them upside down so you can see the wood. I have seen other people do this and it's really nice looking.
How about a giant door or at least doorway+a wide balcony for that part maybe? also about that little tower you got there, how about getting rid of the thatch roof and just putting railings around a flat roof on it also, your building is just awesome..loved it
I absolutely love your building Keralis! Please don't stop this until the town is finished! :) Btw, in my opinion you should keep the throneroom open, maybe a balcony at the end. So the "King" could oversee his land..
Had a thought for the tower, perhaps just have that area meet the wall of the square with a walkway and move the tower to the end of your wall coming off the throne room. Make it a 3 story tower with peaked roof rising above a covered walkway.
I am thinking of a dancer in the throne room...like a jester. The upstairs could use railings with archers or guards. I know this is way down the road but use towers at every corner of the wall and make walkways around the walls with archers lining it, The large tower looks weird and out of place. Maybe a round-ish tower not so tall with two balconies around it with one jetting out to hold the horn. This has to be the most crazy and magnificent thing I have ever seen. Great job.
at the end a large octagonal room that is just for the thrones would cap the grand hall nicely and the plus is you already made one of the walls for it if youre still going for the epic scale
In the throne room use those wooden gates as large windows so you can shut them in sandstorms, also as balconies to view over the realm! Luv ur vids ;)
My favorite youtuber! Kkkkeraliisss! 😁 Random thoughts: The hated/loved tower could be modified and make it into a spiral-kind of tower with the stairs outside instead of inside, and a round-balcony on top, you could hang banners on the sides of it, it could be like a watchtower? idk Behind the throne it would look cooler to have it closed down with walls and put a epic head-thing hanged on it, so it's like the achievements of the king! (and on the second floor make the balcony instead, so the view is higher and more open). The well would be fine there since it's infront of the tavern too (for people to drink water if they have no money for beers xD). The basement beneath maybe destroy few of the foundations and make lower ones so that the basement is bigger, so you could add wheel of pain or put fighter thralls in there just for the sake of it. You could put those red giant flags one on each side of the big entrance with the stairs (one on the left wall and one on the right wall) idk. Maybe add a few ceilings below the "/\" like roofs, to make something like a hidden room above the 2nd floor? idk (and few pillars in the centre of the second floor too, in the throne building). Maybe you should capture a few female dancer thralls and put then in the centre in front of the to-be-throne area or/and in the second floor sides (near the balconies)
Keralis for the back of the throne room: Maybe make it half a octagon and use the doorframes as long windows so it seems closed off but also lets in a lot of light. Just a little idea
should put another well in the little tower. but you are an amazing builder keralis. your ability to visualize things and put them together is quite awesome!
The tower outside could be demolished and replaced with a servants quarters and the back wall behind the throne chairs could be all windows to allow max lighting accept for the two lower outer walls witch could be doors that lead out to a balcony and the upper area could be made into the king and queen quarters along with a storage room with chests or vaults.
This build is great! I think you should raise the throne up one level. Just making whoever sits up there look ominous. It would look cool with stairs going up. Would also semi close up the back area.
Looks amazing :D very curious to see how it would look with the throne and all. Maybe it would be cool to do an upstairs balcony at the far end cause that view is epic!
Nice build Keralis! You should try keeping a balcony behind the throne but maybe make it elevated so that there is a wall behind the throne but you still have a balcony for looking out over your kingdom. It just feels wrong leaving an opening directly behind the throne.
idea for the wall behind the throne, have one of those big double doors open out to a balcony, so you can have the view and shelter from the sandstorms
Build with triangles the throne zone, placing stairs wide and 2 stone cubes in the center as a stage to separate the throne from the rest of the open space. Do not put second floor and remove the first bridge above to leave one in the center of the room.
You could make a balcony behind the thrones that opens up to a garden type thing. That can have ether a garden in itself, and altar, a well and maybe dancers all out there. Like a place for the rulers to enjoy some leisurely time, with the dancers. :3 As for up top, a smaller balcony overlooking the garden?
In the back you need something crazy, something that will impress people who come to see the king on his trone. Like a huge sculpture or painting or something.
i think you should have guards and dancers on the second floor as entertainment for the crowds below (and the king and queen) and what about putting banners on all the walls of the little tower to make it look better? Love your builds they are so cool.
You should leave the back open with some railings or if you close it you could move the rhino head (or something bigger) above the throne because that would look cool.
They should color code inner/outer sides while in placement mode - when outer face is facing you, object projection will glow green, if not - yellow. Or more distinct colors, perhaps. Green/blue. Whatever, you get the idea.
I love the little tower! (and the whole throne room, too) I think it just needs something decorating the walls, like banners just under the eaves or something. As for the area behind the throne, maybe an arch of doorways, to give it a faux stained glass window look? I'm not sure how that would work out, I've never seen it done, but it's good in theory! The more air the better, though. I'm sad to say, I don't really have any good ideas for a platform. :( It's really sad you can't build ceilings on fences, those would be perfect.
Keralis the King Rhino Trophy is massive, maybe 1.5 times the size of the white and grey. Also there is a hanging wall lantern that might look good but I dunno if the recipe is working.
Can't you use a foundation to have a little elevation in the throne room? About the open area behind the throne. I would leave it open for extra impact. make an outward balcony so you can gaze over approaching armies! The basement space, you can put solo grindstones in there, would be awsum and out of sight
i don't think the tower is the problem, it's the wall behind it. Maybe instead of building the wall from the throne room towards the tavern, you could try and wrap that last balcony of the throne room around the end. That way you could even make a balcony behind the throne, that let's you walk around from one side to the other and get the full panoramic view. Once the wall behind the tower is gone, i think it would look good against the background. If you still want a wall towards the tavern, you could build it on a lower level than the tower, that would make more sense as a defensive structure anyway, since usually the inner walls would be higher than the outer ones. Also isn't there something like fence-foundations? i seem to remember to have seen that at someone else's video. They are stack able so maybe you can snap a ceiling to it to make your podium for the throne. Anyway, keep up the great work, it's a lot of fun to watch
You could take the second floor away from the middle back and put like a podium up in the back but using walls. With the back half having no second floor the ceiling would be higher and the throne would not seem as close to the ceiling.
You should jut out the back of the throne room like you did the side and then build a platform for the thrones off of the wall. that way you can have stairs that go up to the platform perfectly.
Awesome Keralis, your eye for details is amazing. Maybe ask the server guys to turn up the gathering rates so you don't have to grind too much. Just a thought. Keep it up mayun.
Is it possible to put the throne/chairs on top of tables? If it is you could build the platform from 4-8 tables and border it with fences then have a bench as a stair.
I think you sould close it with some walls. Maybe you could built a round tower where it is open on the top, and make a staircase inside from the bottom to the top, maybe also on the top make some fence so you can see out over you base and the wildland. I know you have the big tower, but I think it would be cool with a smaller tower, by the way keep the good work on. Great video ;)
you should make a bedroom off to the side with a big balcony overlooking the square so the king can adress his minions. that little tower will have to go though. such a shame.
use the basement as a wine cellar because it is next to the tavern!
joefy200 good idea
joefy200 yeah
👌👍
joefy200 yes superb idea
I loved this episode! You decorated the throne room so puuuuurdy!! But it will be great when BIG throne is there.
I'd tell you a chemistry joke, but all the good ones...
argon.
I would tell you a better one but Na.
evo mantas lol
K.
haha
Looks great so far! I'm a fan of the little tower. :D
I haven't played the game yet, but is there a way to layer the vertical walls with some of the railings to create an interesting pattern? If so, it might be cool to create a big mock window behind the throne.
Maybe a vault or a secret passage/escape tunnel in all the extra basement space?
fenderlove I agree..I like the little tower
Keralis, for the podium try using the foundation coz I remember u can adjust their height using the scroll wheel : )
cant do that when you're that high off the ground the scroll wheel only works on the inital ground placement not 5 blocks up attached to a larger building it would be nice though
could you use a pillar then ceilings?
same prob he showed in game it will be at ceiling height because of the snap mechanics in the game he tested the idea with walls and it didnt go well if you noticed
Are there any low tables that you could place the chairs on?
My suggestion would be to build the Yog (the big fire pit) shrine inside where the thrones are and build a similar half circular platform around it with stairs on either side. that would be awesome, but somewhere else bc the ground is too deep near the square
These videos of building and thinking of structures to build are so good. This game has so much stuff to do and I love it!
Play this game more I love it
I think you can make a balcony behind the throne use a big doubledoor. You can throw the traitors or enemy leaders down from there. Like "This is SPARTAAA!" :D
I like the tower, I think it looks perfectly fine there.
Best episode yet, the Great Hall looks incredible!
Use the Doorway as windows on your outside walls of the throne Room. The large windows will fit the theme
I second this. Doorways make great windows as long as they're at least one block up off the ground
Keralis tame some hyenas (knock them out) and put them in front of your throne, it will look awesome!
this i what i always love about keralis
you should make a barracks with an archery range (using the targets and some archer thralls) that connects to the castle somehow
danglesauce18 great idea!
That Throneroom looks Hardcoreamazing!!! And i love that little Tower for the Guards close the entry cause the shape is freshening it up. Stands out of this 'house -shape ' thing.. Don't know how to say...
Love it Keralis! Would love to see a big balcony with a fountain overlooking the tavern :)
If you put the throne or those royal seats higher a bit to appear superior to the rest of the room, it will make a great difference. Basically in ancient times, the leader always has he's seat higher then the others to show the rank.
Holy Crap! This build is amazing.

also about that little tower you got there, how about getting rid of the thatch roof and just putting railings around a flat roof on it
also, your building is just awesome..loved it
With the throne build and extra bit out from the building and build 1 wide stairs up to the second floor with the throne in the median level.
I absolutely love your building Keralis! Please don't stop this until the town is finished! :)
Btw, in my opinion you should keep the throneroom open, maybe a balcony at the end. So the "King" could oversee his land..
NoOOoooOo dont touch the little TOWER its perfect as it is :D !
Mikael Nilsson I think it should be a little taller, just my opinion but I do like it too
RoKetBunyy Yeah perhaps 1 layer higher but other then that it got a lot of charm :) !
looks like an outhouse haha
Oh man! Beef and Keralis has the nicest place I've seen so far.
you should have dancers on the second floor in the gaps
Had a thought for the tower, perhaps just have that area meet the wall of the square with a walkway and move the tower to the end of your wall coming off the throne room. Make it a 3 story tower with peaked roof rising above a covered walkway.

Watched a whole 1 minute add just because I love your channel so I'm gonna support a bit :)

I would suggest a roundish balcony with pillars and fence. Maybe thatched roof of same circular shape.
Hi Keralis
Try using the fence foundations to add detail to the sides of square and triangle foundations.
this game looks awesome just for purely cosmetic building! Keep it up Keralis!
Try using fence foundations to fill in those gaps. They can snap along the side of the other foundations and has similar texture to the walls.
My favorite youtuber! Kkkkeraliisss! 😁
Random thoughts: The hated/loved tower could be modified and make it into a spiral-kind of tower with the stairs outside instead of inside, and a round-balcony on top, you could hang banners on the sides of it, it could be like a watchtower? idk

If you want to cover the hole at 2:50, you can place fence foundation over them
The tower outside could be demolished and replaced with a servants quarters and the back wall behind the throne chairs could be all windows to allow max lighting accept for the two lower outer walls witch could be doors that lead out to a balcony and the upper area could be made into the king and queen quarters along with a storage room with chests or vaults.
This build is great! I think you should raise the throne up one level. Just making whoever sits up there look ominous. It would look cool with stairs going up. Would also semi close up the back area.
Isn't there a different throne in the recipe list? It looked like a stone one with stairs. Might be a better fit. Keep up the good work dude!
FedC50 yeah I was thinking about that
Keralis if you lower the basement you can put a weel of pain in it
Looks amazing :D very curious to see how it would look with the throne and all. Maybe it would be cool to do an upstairs balcony at the far end cause that view is epic!
Nice build Keralis! You should try keeping a balcony behind the throne but maybe make it elevated so that there is a wall behind the throne but you still have a balcony for looking out over your kingdom. It just feels wrong leaving an opening directly behind the throne.
you can raise the floor a lil bit to stick the chairs on
Enjoy watching you build. Can you place signs over a shop or tavern?
u can use fence foundations do cover up the ugly normal foundations than they like awesome :D
idea for the wall behind the throne, have one of those big double doors open out to a balcony, so you can have the view and shelter from the sandstorms
Yes! Please put the wheels of pain in the basement! That'd be awesome for storylines
Build with triangles the throne zone, placing stairs wide and 2 stone cubes in the center as a stage to separate the throne from the rest of the open space. Do not put second floor and remove the first bridge above to leave one in the center of the room.
Throne room kind of reminds me of Whiterun in Skyrim - the pillars and high ceilings give me a very Dragonsreach-esque vibe.
love it kerallas thank you for recording this game 😀
love the video keralis keep up the amazing videos
For the back of the Castle, you could do something like the balcony area in Dragon's Reach from Skyrim
In Lego Movies, you would be the master builder ;) And for a Norwegian to say such good things about a Sweedish, thats saying somthing! ;) Bra jobbet!
Make the basement into a underground "gentlemens club" with "dancers" ;)
you should put gaurds by the doors to make it look really royal and cool
In the back you need something crazy, something that will impress people who come to see the king on his trone. Like a huge sculpture or painting or something.
love it karalis, you should finish the parimeter wall.
Derp Tower is adorable!
i think you should have guards and dancers on the second floor as entertainment for the crowds below (and the king and queen) and what about putting banners on all the walls of the little tower to make it look better? Love your builds they are so cool.
You should leave the back open with some railings or if you close it you could move the rhino head (or something bigger) above the throne because that would look cool.
you need to make the thrown room like the one from skyrim with the dragon head behind the throne, and a big fire in the middle of the room
Keralis above in the throne room you should put archers on the cat walk and Chandelier's (Shan-da-leers) underneath the cat walk.
Hi Keralis, put the Mitra Altar behind the throne and leave it open. Badass. :D
cover your foundations with fence foundations to cover the holes. not sure if it works all the way up tho. Checked it and it worked.
Keralis!!!! can't you use the fence foundation instead of the railing for your podium????????
nice episode. i enjoy watching =) i cant w8 to see the throne room finished
on the wall behind the thrones, use door frames stacked to make tall windows like used to do in ARK
For the back wall maybe you could make a giant banner but putting a munch of different banners and tapestries next to each other.
They should color code inner/outer sides while in placement mode - when outer face is facing you, object projection will glow green, if not - yellow.
Or more distinct colors, perhaps. Green/blue. Whatever, you get the idea.

use fence foundations on your regular foundations that are by the walls, it will hide the holes they both create
Keralis' buildings look better than the ones designed by the game developers.
The throne room could do with some of that nice colored glass windows at the back. Hope they put glass as a material in the game.
The little tower is awesome, do not touch it :D
Keralis the King Rhino Trophy is massive, maybe 1.5 times the size of the white and grey. Also there is a hanging wall lantern that might look good but I dunno if the recipe is working.
Can't you use a foundation to have a little elevation in the throne room?
About the open area behind the throne. I would leave it open for extra impact. make an outward balcony so you can gaze over approaching armies!
The basement space, you can put solo grindstones in there, would be awsum and out of sight
On the top add ceiling then add some chest imbetween then add some more ceiling to access them so you still have a main storage area
Hey Keralis, can't you rise the foundations up with the mouseweel before placing? Or is that not an option?
manon988 you can't place foundations through ceilings and if he removes them, the foundations would snap to the height he put the other ones...
Thank you sheeppusher! Didn't know that, I don't have the game (yet), but good to know!
the back triangle balcony would be nice!
i don't think the tower is the problem, it's the wall behind it. Maybe instead of building the wall from the throne room towards the tavern, you could try and wrap that last balcony of the throne room around the end. That way you could even make a balcony behind the throne, that let's you walk around from one side to the other and get the full panoramic view.

Awesome Keralis, your eye for details is amazing. Maybe ask the server guys to turn up the gathering rates so you don't have to grind too much. Just a thought. Keep it up mayun.
u can make a curtain behind the throne connecting to a balcony.
the balcony in Skyrim castle looks good for this build
think you should upgrade some of the building engrams or brenda things to make the build look even better. GREAT JOB MR K
Keralis sometimes door frames can work as cool designs for windows might look good in some areas of this cathedral like throne room
Great video ;)
if u use Sandstone Fence Foundation on the similar Foundation it will connect prefectly w/o any holes
you should make a bedroom off to the side with a big balcony overlooking the square so the king can adress his minions. that little tower will have to go though. such a shame.
You should bring the little tower up by one wall and a little room on top that is on the same level as the upper throne room.
Looking good man keep up the grind LOL !!!
What you should do for behind the thrones is something like dragons reach in skyrim, make a part of a wall with a massive balcony. (Look up pics)
