omg i have just booked 21 nights on queen vic .i love my food hot and i love 3 courses .i also went on sky princess but they were so expensive to do 21 nights . im getting worried looks like 21 nights in the buffet
Hi Dave. I've heard that the QV tends to offer a better experience on the longer duration cruises so hopefully you'll have a more satisfactory trip. We found the QV quite expensive for drinks, services add ons and Wi-Fi. Princess offers the bundled package of drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities at £50 a day which I think compares favourably with Cunard if you add these costs together. I hope you have a great cruise and that our experience was not the norm.
I’m really looking forward to our cruise on Queen Victoria in July. 😫 Having said that, this sounds very similar to our 7 night Holland America New England cruise last year. Poor service in the MDR, untrained staff and uninspiring food. Enjoyed your balanced review
I really think you had a lot of bad luck. Guess you are right: It has to do probably with the 4 day cruise. I watched a lot of reviews and even the critical cruise testers praised the food on Victoria. It's a bit sad for you. Thanks for the great video.
With respect, suggest adjusting your camera to show less of your tummy. Your criticisms of the food are credible and important but they lose some punch while viewers start at your large belly and wonder, jeez doesn't look like it was that bad. Camera angles MUCH better at the end of the vid.

I'm sure you'll have a great time. I think we were just a bit unlucky as I believe normally Cunard would be a far better experience.
