    this helps. i am considering applying, without having any connections. but i currently intern at a record label and am learning a lot from doing that. my goal is to become a talent agent and i feel like this program is probably the most beneficial thing for me. i can make connections if i was there and im talented in working with talent (people always keep wishing i could have "real" experience or education so they can actually hire me). which is one of those things where i dont have that because people require that. lol endless cycle. im 30 so it was nice to hear that you were older as well. i used to professionally dance here and there and learned a lot about how the business works. just nothing super set in stone on my resume to show to people so i can actually get a job. hopefully working in this mail room can actually make a difference.

    Are you going to do more of these? I have been looking for a space to discuss this! I worked in agencies in Atlanta. It really is somewhat of a hidden industry. Wish I had more people to talk about it and ask advice and stuff.

      I make videos all the time on my channel but they are about life experiences. Working at an agency was just one part of it. Thanks for watching.

      If you haven't already, do research on the company/clients, understand why you are applying, what department you are gunning for so you can talk intelligently. Study current market trends and be PROFESSIONAL. Don't show up late, have a resume, have a personality, blah blah blah. Their HR is solid and great people. Good luck!

    Hey man, thank you so much for this video. Super informative.
    I have a question tho...I'f I'm still studying, would you recommend do internships at a big talent agency? Is it super demanding that I might focus just on one thing? What would you recommend?

    • @ThinkTarun
      @ThinkTarun  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're an intern they're not going to work you like an assistant. All experience is good experience. You also meet people that can possibly help you down the road. I would just bust your ass if you get an opportunity. best,

    Hi! Please, let us pray together. Dear God who art in heaven hallow be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever in Jesus Christ's name we pray amen.

      Not really - My mail room class came from well off families. I was coming in having a previous career. It's still possible. I temped at another agency and some kids were living hand to mouth. Just being real with you.
