It’s so cool watching your videos. It really is like a time capsule. I was born in 1988. The 90s was my childhood. Thanks for uploading these videos. I’m glad you preserved them.
Omg that Dragonball z poster is 🔥🤗 Love Halloween, it’s been dead for years here😔, not even one trick or treater . No one even decorates anymore. 1998 Halloween I dressed up as the Cryptkeeper 😊. I see your friend bought Halloween 4, that’s the last Halloween movie I really enjoyed , just Michael’s mask was bad, the Theatrical Poster was a big lie lol
Such a great video, I was 14 in 1998, played Resident Evil 2 in the dark with friends after hitting the streets for candy. We had the shaking ghost decoration in the hallway entrance and I used to jump up and slap it any time I had to walk underneath it to make it dance. Halloween in the 90s was pretty special, 3 haunted houses and a haunted maze in my neighborhood alone. Love these videos man, all of them but especially the Halloween content. Side note, I stumbled across some NEW grungy bands that sound straight out of 90's, like surprisingly impressive. Superbloom (Head First/Leash/Pollen/1994), The Blood Republic (Need Some Time/Escape It all, ) Dark Sun (Trapped in the dark/Wallow/Hate You). Cheers!
def remember that myers mask. I had the cinema secrets one, which most closely resembled part 5 with the long (awful) hair. thanks so much for these videos!!!
@@mistah_whiskahs yup! the hair was also really long and kinda wiry. it was, at the time, among the "better" of the few other limited options out there, but the neck was mega long and, yeah, on my 12 yr old head, much too big.
I remember Halloween 1998 as the day I moved into my first apartment. Then going to a friend's bonfire that night. I also enjoy seeing your friend's silver New Beetle pop up in your videos, because I used to have one too (mine was a silver '00 though, not a '98).
My favorite villains. Starting with Jason and Myers when I was a kid in the 80s. Then Ghostface when I was a teenager. Seeing Scream 1 for the first time, damn, it was like a revelation...😂
Luckily I still get a lot of kids trick or treating in my neighborhood and even people who are definitely not kids 😂 I just bought a couple bags of candy and it was crazy expensive this year for anything chocolate.
No where near as much as 70s-90s. It's used to be universal everywhere more specific to certain neighborhoods. Its became almost more of an adult thing as much as kid thing.
When I was a kid in the 90s, everyone gave out candy and so many kids were out and about all over the streets. Now, I only get maybe 20 kids to my house as an adult, only about 2 other people put up decorations and just 1/3 to 1/4 of the adults on the street give out candy. It's sad, but I try to spoil the children.
Definitely not like when I was a kid. We walked for miles and then my mom and dad would drive us out to my gran in the countryside so she could see our costumes and that is the only place we would have full sized candy bars given to us. ❤ I have my house front and center in our super small town. Funny enough, I am the only one on our block with Halloween decor as well and always have lil wrapped candy bars ready to go (because I remember wanting at least a few chocolate bars, if I was lucky, growing up). We never have people come by,unless it is a friend with their kid.
Crazy that people would invite you to step into their house before giving out candy. Is that something that still happens? I feel like here in the UK that was never a thing! we barely had the door opened to us. Let alone people actually saying ‘happy Halloween!’ As you left! You guys had it good 🙌
Probably some houses do it still. Trick or treating isn't as big now as it used to be. Peak was 70s to 90s. Halloween is big but became even more popular with adults whereas it used to be just for kids.
I was 5 almost 6 then. Thanks for bringing us back into time! Can't believe I'm in my 30's now. The guys in this video are probably in their late 40's/early 50's?
There is a channel about american history. I saw a video on video rental store. They show a video from a store and we see you hahaha. I was not sure, I "rewinded" , "yes it's him!" 😂
Bit of a random question, but do you remember how much Michael Myers masks cost back then? I'm curious cause I was at Spirit Halloween the other day, and they were selling them for 70 bucks!
All that candy would cost a fortune today.
Im so happy you recorded all these videos. They are a wonderful time capsule and bring me back to the 90s.
I would give up everything to experience this just one more time again. Dont know what you got til its gone.
Amen to that

Same =]
That "Halloween II" recreation, spot on!
thanks
Absolutely love your channel! I can smell the 90’s. Greatest decade. New subscriber here ☝️
That looks like so much fun i love the attention to detail to the jason mask by adding the blood where the axe was

Awesome video
This was so cool to see.
Wish I was old enough in the 90s to enjoy those times.
Same I was born In 1996 so I'm a 90s baby with early 2000s memories/childhood haha
def remember that myers mask. I had the cinema secrets one, which most closely resembled part 5 with the long (awful) hair. thanks so much for these videos!!!
the Cinema Secrets one was the one that was a little oversized right?
@@mistah_whiskahs yup! the hair was also really long and kinda wiry. it was, at the time, among the "better" of the few other limited options out there, but the neck was mega long and, yeah, on my 12 yr old head, much too big.
This was so fun to watch. My last year trick or treating was 1997. 1998 was the first time I attended a Halloween party.

You were so cool having one of those. ❤

so glad the algorithm showed me this channel ❤️
Loved the video man, lots of fun to watch , =]
I just can't believe he's no longer with us. I miss him.
Luckily I still get a lot of kids trick or treating in my neighborhood and even people who are definitely not kids 😂 I just bought a couple bags of candy and it was crazy expensive this year for anything chocolate.
The poster for Pi 0:43 ❤ I more excited about the spooky ghost sound at 8:24 because I know exactly one of the two things it probably came from. 😂
Do kids even trick r treat anymore? The 70's through the 90's were so awesome and are missed!
My neighborhood is a rager every year.
Yes we shut down a whole block here for trick or treating and haunted houses. Hundreds of people and kids in costumess it's great.

I went as the Cryptkeeper for Halloweens 98 and 99, and I have those same Halloween 4 and Day of the Dead clamshells.
I love this video. All these costumes are amazing. Thanks for my eyes.👻
You really liked the Spice Girls!.. that’s so cute! 🥰
Damn 24 hours before my birth. Crazy shit being able to go watch what the world was like as it was when you entered it.
8:00 the sound of the ghost décoration ❤❤❤
Thats the official sound of my Halloween’s in the 90’s.
this is basically history ngl
5:17 actually insane how you actually had to drive somewhere just to get a phone call in😭
Crazy that people would invite you to step into their house before giving out candy. Is that something that still happens?

That Dragonball poster is so sick!
Crazy Exhumed Films is still around. They host and provide a ton of shit to a local drive in, in PA. The Manhoning Drive In.

Even more so for the kids.

Around 40-45 dollars if I remember correctly.

To think that all of them are dead now 😮
