Love to see the rides from my High School days coming back from the grave.... miss those old yards where they let you wander and they didn’t send em straight to the crusher. All gone here in New England pretty much . Never owned a B body but had Mach 1 , GTO, Chevelle , etc. Those were the days of Chargers, Challengers,‘Cuba’s in the hands of us 18 year olds . Glad someone still has the interest in keeping the less than perfect cars a going- none of the ones we drove back then looked like car show specimens of today . Little rust bondo and dents gave them character !

That is one of the sharpest looking engine bays I have ever seen. Let’s hope the owner makes the rest of the car look as good as that beautiful 340 you brought back to life. Outstanding work as usual. Well done indeed.

I just went back to Bellevue, WA. to get my Valiant ready for shipping. Your quick comment about the cooling/coolant temp made me chuckle. I pulled the 25" HD radiator, shroud, clutch fan out of a '73 Scamp (from AZ with a V8 & AC) years ago for $30 at a junkyard. Had the radiator boiled, tested & a small seam repair for another $70-$75. Well, put that in my Valiant to replace the small, LD V8 radiator set up (solid fan, no shroud). World's better- got a bunch of other small things done. It should be here in NC in the next couple of weeks

First of all, a belated very happy and blessed Veterans Day Brad! You must have the carb and timing dialed in the way that things snaps when you whack the throttle. Hopefully the owner can get the interior and paint in the near future. Like to see her back on the channel when she is all done. Thanks for sharing devil dog! Semper Fi!! Cheers from Motown.

Nothing like the "baby hemi!" That sure is a nice solid 'Runner, just a few spots to fix. Beautiful job on that heavily-cammed 340. I usually dribble some 2 cycle gas in the carb to start a dry engine.

Had the opportunity to save my literal dream car last year. Wanted a Cuda since I was a young kid (a buddy's uncle had a 340 4spd 72 that was red) and I went and got my own... 74 360/4spd, sat 22 years... made the deal 4th of July weekend 2020. She runs and I drive the shit out of it now. Wouldn't have it any other way

not sure if you know Bouchillon performance makes a kit for when you connect a holley that uses the kick down cable that the newer ram 1500 trucks use and a bracket that holds the kick down and the throttle cable and a bracket for the throttle shaft nicest kit i have ever seen its a complete kit everything you need need to look them up. the beauty of the kit uses stock throttle cable and off the shelf ram 1500 kick down cable no cutting or mods bolts right up looks stock
