@@19bendunk the mental toll is the main tag line of abuse so if in the child’s mind it is just a punishment it won’t usually affect them mentally, but as a child it’s hard to speak up so it is a risky line just because every child sees things differently and may not say anything or realize what they are feeling. So it can stray into the area of mental damage and a warped view of their parent as they can become scared of them and then most experiences have that base of fear built in, so it does have to be balanced between loving in a way that a child can see and discipline.(most of the time when they’re older they will see that it is from a place of love I know I did, but I don’t see much of a reason to not discipline when needs be and love them the rest of the time it helps them to keep that loving relationship in mind.)
You should never abuse anyone even if you have to! It’s a sin! And it will not do you good in your life! So please do not abuse people, they may act like they don’t care on the outside but on the inside it really hurts!! That is an amazing family, finally realizing what the dad is doing and in the end when they all covered her up, it proves they care for her!!!
@@barty38ify i mean imagine living with someone like that, and you do everything to please them, you take care of them, do their laundry, cook food for them, etc. But it's never enough for them so they keep treating you like shit no matter what you do. You're not even getting paid to do things for them or deal with their shit, but you do it anyway and they're always aggressive towards you. Imagine living in fear every day thinking that this person could hurt you anytime. it would all feel like mental torture when dealing with this every single day. Idk about you, but to me it looks like that this could possibly be a factor of mental abuse.
I-am 27 year old guy ended up leaving India and living in Canada due to abusive friends, family.here’s my story my parents are very strict, especially my father who used to beat me crazy and embarrass me in front of people for my small mistakes . For some reason I don’t know I always used to be target for bullies in my class. They all used to beat, harass ,treat me real bad but I never confronted them because if I do they would me beat me real bad (always 1 v 5,6)I never used to tell my parents about my problems because I was afraid that I would get beating. My father used to run a small restaurant whenever I am off my school he used to make me work in the restaurant. The workers who used to work in the restaurant also started bullying me and my father would never say anything to them and they took advantage of it. My father would never allowed me go to play with friends he always wanted me to work in the restaurant. One day when I was 16 year old my father beat me like real bad I was crying all day and was thinking about my life why am I target ?? for everybody and I came to a conclusion that I was born I like this and I will be like this from then on started staying from friend, cousins, everybody. From that day I never made friends and never spoke with my old friends. I stopped going to family events, used to enjoy my self company. I liked girls in my class but never spoke with them because I was afraid that if my father get to know any relationship i am dead.I only used to go to church and pray to god that please change my life and make me achieve great things in life.all these years my self esteem ,confidence was really low and I never believed in my self I only thought that Iam fit for nothing. After finishing under graduation I was so afraid and scared to apply for jobs because that feeling of iam fit for nothing was deeply rooted in my brain even though I used to get 70 percent on my studies I was afraid people would say something. One day when I was 22 (just finished under graduation)he gain beat me real bad in front of my relative I was depressed and thought I should leave the house so, I packed my stuff and went to Mumbai that was on 2016. The only thing that I was worried leaving home was about my mom I knew she would be in anguish. I was roaming streets in Mumbai. Spent one night in a hotel my sisters kept on calling, texting me all this time but I didn’t reply or answer them. That next day morning they texted me that mom was really worried about me and didn’t have food ever since I left the house so, I returned that evening to home. My mom spoke with a uncle and she requested them to let me stay in their house for 4 months.i was thinking all the time when I was at uncles home to stay away from my world and go to other country and start new life and do any job to live if even there they said i am fit for nothing I could easily change jobs because I don’t really care any job as long as they pay me. I can’t do that in India because people would judge you and embarrass you for the type of work you do.So here I am in Canada came on a student visa somehow managed to finish two years and got work permit. I work as security guard and I am very happy that my supervisor never said anything wrong about mr and I am always careful about my duties but I have still the fear of I am fit for nothing in my brain. I am still scared to apply for good jobs because i might do wrong and have to face embarrassment even I have the caliber to do it. There is always struggle in myself.I hope someday I will get the courage to change my brain and get self confidence. Edit : thank you every one who strengthened me with your words. This would really help me to build my self.

FYI, BOTH men AND women can be abusive. It's not strictly a male trait. Society needs to hold female abusers just as accountable as male ones.
Just because you are the male here doesn't mean that everything is targeted at males ok...?
@@Ummuray if you understood my previous comment, I said both genders should be at fault. Get your head out of you know where...
I'm glad I had a disciplinarian as a father. Never abusive, but when I crossed that line, an ass whopping, and a lecture came fast. Some people say that is abuse, but that man took care of me everyday, taught me valuable skills, and is a role model to me and my siblings.
If you not feel abuse that what matters my friend, people knows very well when its not from love and care believe me
@@19bendunk the mental toll is the main tag line of abuse so if in the child’s mind it is just a punishment it won’t usually affect them mentally, but as a child it’s hard to speak up so it is a risky line just because every child sees things differently and may not say anything or realize what they are feeling.
@@19bendunk its not abuse, just good discipline or tough love, now if its like everyday constantly and on purpose then thats when you gotta speak up

I’m crying because you should always love your family and friends
Ah yes, the abusive father who randomly un-does laundry and starves himself for no reason.
Lol

Lol
His just like my big sis son his so pike about food
Well your father is a freaking coward then
You sound like a great guy and I wish you the best. I think you should leave the ‘I’m fit for nothing’ mentality in India. You don’t deserve to feel that way! Your going to find people that love you for who you are and any one else can get lost

Why not talk about how divorced women take advantage of the bias family court to to get all the money his ex husband makes to go on vacations, to pay for massages, spa and other unnecessary stuff while staying at the house that her ex is paying. But no, let's all talk keep on talking about wife beaters for the millionth fucking time so that, you know, didn't get the memo.
@@ResolvedMC it might not change any abuser. But it raises awareness for the people around the ones being abused. A lot of people Don’t see the signs, while the people that surround someone That’s being abused usually are the ones that help them get out. Why do you think abusers try to cut contacts?
@@leya2215 so why keep beating over the head? Most people are aware of that, they don't need to a daily reminder of that. If anything, people should be aware how biased the family court is towards women. How many divorced men have to keep paying absurds amounts of money to a woman so that she can go out and have fun, while the men lose the house and custody of their kids. And if you care about victims of abuse, then you should consider how much kids are abused by their single moms.
