Well done... Pretty good information for the first timer. I may have taken it a step further any point out the firing order of the block vs rotor but this was a great video for those needing help.. well done!
Thanks for this! I’ve been wanting to change mine out for a while and this gave me the confidence to do it. Are you using a torque wrench? Is the a spec torque to put on the plugs rather than the “1/2 turn” thing? I’m an amateur too. I know some and have worked on cars but I always get intimidated asking questions bc ppl tend to want to make you feel stupid rather than help so it was so great to see a guy like me doing it and making it less intimidating.
Todd Hefflinger hi Todd, i did not use a torque wrench on them. If you google the proper torque settings it will come up but I just hand tightened it to feel. Obviously too tight is going to strip threads but I think of it as doing it tight enough that it takes moderate effort to loosen but it’s not crazy tight. I know that comment will technical people cringe but it works for me. I also did not put the sealant in the threads. My car is only driven in the summer on nice days, and I don’t track the car so for everyday driving, it’s more than appropriate. Hope that helps.
Thank you for pointing out the spark plug gap. You look like Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson when working on the car. Much respect to you.
Joel my pleasure! I am glad it helped!
Thank you for this! Much needed man 🙌🏻
No Problem. here is the link for the spark plugs if you need for the future.

What size socket?
hi thanks for the comment... it is actually the standard spark plug socket that comes in any set..
Ohm out your leads from distributor cap while doing this. Should be around 3000 ohms +/- 20% or 10% if you are really picky
