Many thanks! Fortunately, I succeded to get a replecement battery even nowadays! How nice was earlier, when you could switch batteries by just a single pull switch...Why manufacturers changed that way? (ofc it is just a rhetorical question).

Regarding the battery, they don't want people to be able to service and upgrade or remove the internal including battery, it's all part of design for benefit THEM not the user.

Useful video. Thanks. But one final step would have helped more. For battery replacement, the cord needs to be disconnected from the battery and reconnected to the new battery. It was easy. I tried and it worked.

regarding your question: it all depends when or where you purchase the new battery some seller will provide you with the cable and some don't , mostly don't, but if your original cable is not damaged detaching by just pulling on it and re use it.

Hi, The screen of E7470 stucks all of a sudden during work. Is it due to weak battery? How can I diagnose battery health on this machine?

regarding your question: your screen freezing has nothing to do with battery going bad, and the laptop can work fine without the battery connected only with charger connected.
if your screen freeze with charger connected let me know and i get back at you.

Brother...after I remove the battery and fix it back in the laptop, why does it not power on
Hold the power button for 15sec, the let go and press once. did you make sure you didn't connect sideways or incorrectly?
All great except some batteries come without the cable so you need to move it from the old battery to the new one...
Thank you for the support and feedback, regarding the cable of the battery most provider they include the cable, but its a snap on cable, and i have included the link to the cable in case if anyone needs one. and :( i guess i should of mentioned to remove the cable to the new battery :P

regarding your feedback: most of the seller should provide the cable we do purchase then very often for our clients and we do get them with cable. BUT you are right don't trash anything until you have the new parts and installed.
