Hello mister Elmo, I cant believe i only found this Raub video untill now. I live overseas but have fond child memories of visiting my mothers kampung. Normally most Raub vlogs is spoken in mandarin and I only speak hakka and cantonese. I'm so grateful for this video! You even went to bukit koman, there is where my family used to live on the main road. I'm so happy to see the old vendors and seeing you enjoyed the food. I hope you found another chance to eat the famous Musang King in Raub, it truly is the best
A very interesting Food hunt indeed at Raub this time. I would have to agree that "taste" is very subjective and each person will have their preferences in terms of food tasting. Hence- most important is to savor each dish with an open heart - less if it's not that fulfilling and more if it's according to one's taste bud. That's all. It's been a long time since I hear the cantonese phrase " Yan yau sat sau - Ma yau sat thai " and it's very true indeed. 👍Again- thank you Elmo for bringing us an interesting Raub's food hunt . Yatt Lau !!! And the quality of the material of the T-shirt is very good indeed .....
Hi Elmo … finally returned to kl yesterday Will surely go through all your videos to find good food during our stay here. So kudos to all the videos you have provided… they will be very useful
Love your vlogs and the interesting intro of the place to be premiered!! I wouldn’t make any apologies over the occasional negative remarks!! There will bound to be differ opinions as your postings are reaching vast followers! You have more supportive ones! Keep up the good work!! 👍🏻👍🏻
We are going to Malaysia the first time in December, your videos are extremely helpful! We can’t wait for to try all the good food. Love your videos, please keep it up!
Ratha Raub's roti canai is by far one of the best in Klang Valley altho the dhal is a bit too salty. Next time you visit them again, try their Mysore Uttapam. Great review on Raub's food choices. Thank you uncle elmo
The most unfriendly unsatisfactory service ever in this restaurant . Most workers are foreigners and they treat like they are doing you a favour by taking your order. . Their food quality has nosedived and locals try to avoid eating here only outsiders find this restaurant food good . Avoid this place at all cost . Food prices are also expensive and unreasonable
@@soha8618 I certainly see your point, for example, teh panas is not that panas & my parents complain every now and then. I have to some how remind them that I only want dahl but that has changed after being a regular there. Never really had a bad experience although I must say the price has gone up.
Please do not be disheartened when you receive these negative remarks. Thank you for introducing hidden gems and also existing gems. I love your channel as you have done your "homework" on the "history" of the place or the venue of your visits. Please keep up the good work.
Elmo sir, please don't mind those negative comments! As you have said, taste is very subjective. What is good for me might not suit you. Eat once and if you don't like, never return! You have invested your time and money to search out food places whereas these keyboard gluttons don't contribute but make negative remarks. If they unsubscribe then it's a blessing.
Hi Elmo ...You are right, how delicious food can be its also very subjective. Each and everyone's taste palate is different. Fear not , your honest review is what sets you much different than the rest . Feed on those negative remarks and keep improving . I alo agree SS15 rojak is too over- rated . Keep givng us great video and thanks this time for " investment" tutorial !
Subjectivity will be deemed objective if more and not less saying the food is crap. Robert in S17 is much overated. The only thing the operator stands out is his motion while frying his food and his Indonesian assistant do the frying for him at certain time of the day. Even the old couple who have hardly any business selling the same dish just the next shop taste better and have much consistent quality. Calling a spade a spade, you have actually underated the Little Eat Fish Head noodle in Pudu (Not the Franchise outlets)
As an old saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison, taste is something very subjective indeed. So long as you speak your mind, it's nothing to feel depressed about, Elmo. Hainanese coffee, "teh si" and Hainanese chops are always in my top five must eat list in Malaysia, but unfortunately the "authentic" Hainanese taste is so hard to find nowadays, well, those were the days. I gathered MCA will owe you a debt of gratitude, if it manages to recapture Raub in the coming general election, since you have given a thumbs up to Ng Yen Yen during her tenure as tourism minister. Just kidding, Elmo, I must admit that she did a good job when the ministry was under her charge, at least much better than those who good for nothing but uttering gibberish, such as that one who claimed that there isn't any guy in this country. As I have mentioned earlier, to dare speak our minds is more important than anything else, despite MCA is never my cup of tea! Good luck and stay healthy and happy, bro.
Thanks for ur understanding chong, all the comments for ng yen yen were given from the vendors, from the horse's mouth. My late dad was a MCA man all his life although i defer from his support
Elmo.. Please don't worry too much about the comments... What the Chinese proverb says there are lots of varieties of rice in this world so that's what the human is about... Can't please everyone here... That's what make the world round.. Cheers
in my opinion, it's not necessary to highlight the mediocre ones. if you think it's not good, just leave them out of your review. in that way, you won't harm the rice bowls of the food vendors
But its true la, your food recommendation is very cincai, but i still like to watch your videos, quite interesting, post more please, but undoubtably your food recommendation are very average and not the nicest food. But that doesnt mean u r not interesting to watch.
