My favorite sandwich the day after thanksgiving or with Christmas leftovers is a nice piece of crusty bread covered with mashed potatoes, gravy and topped with a couple pieces of turkey... yum! Sometimes cranberry sauce too! 👍🏼😊
Mine is, two slices bread with best butter, lettuce, spring onions, mayonnaise and turkey. Heaven

gary1961 I’m from the US (New York State) but my maternal grandmother was a war bride from Liverpool, and I have countless happy memories from childhood, of her teaching my sister and myself how to make BACON butties “the right way”, and then her making them for us when we’d go visit her and grandpa. I now make them for my two boys now, as a special lunch treat here and there.

I love a „brevilled“ mashed potato sandwich. Always a different combo, mash & onions, mash & a fried egg, mash & beans, mash & cheese. They are amazing.

I used to eat what we called a Thanksgiving sandwich on the days following thanksgiving. This had mashed potatoes in it because it is a mix of all the different foods we had for thanksgiving piled between 2 pieces of bread. They are really good and you get different flavors the whole time you are eating the sandwich since the sandwich isn't the same amount of everything all the way through.
Great job Leah although I could of done better than the builder did easily. What spoilt this was the fact I’d already seen it on Facebook. Anyway, Merry Christmas Leah, hope you have a lovely day! 🎅🏻🎁😊

The dude was a joke. Every Video I have seen of her (and I just discovered who she is), she kills every dude she challenges in every competition. There's really no money down on any of the dudes. She crushes them in every way. Not even sure why they challenge her if they have not seen her videos.

Best day after holiday sandwich, mix leftover cranberry/cranberry sauce with brown or honey mustard cover top and bottom of whatever bread you have, then layer your turkey, stuffing, gravy, then put it on a griddle, waffle or panini maker! If you use a griddle smash it down! And yes you can use mashed potatoes! But not as much as an open faced sandwich!

Hi Leah. So nice to see you at this time of year. I really enjoyed your choice of music. Btw, my mother (mum) used to feed us kids pork and bean sandwiches. My sister used to love mayonnaise sandwiches. Just mayonnaise, nothing else. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Finally making it to the older videos, and I have to say I'm good with a mashed potato sandwich. Also, when we were kids, my mum would take left over mash potatoes and fry them up and I'd make butties out of them.

Mashed potatoes on bread is very popular. You put mashed potatoes on texas toast smoked brisket on top of that and gravy over the top of it all. It's called an open faced sandwich.

I am Danish, and I love potato sandwiches; you take little new potatoes, boil them, remove skins, let them cool, then butter your bread, slice the potatoes, layer them on the bread, add some salt and pepper, add some mayo [ or other dressing ], you can add a cheddar cheese slice if you like; quite often I use Danish rye bread for this :) You can also use the left over bacon fat instead of butter, my mom kept this in the fridge, like butter. to make open face sandwiches :)

I don't know why the hell ppl speed up the video. I am able to skip around myself according to my taste, thank you. Leave the videos be, please. If I'm just concerned about results, why record anything at all? Just give us the before and after pics. Done! Like the guy says, you eat with your knife and fork, which is very pleasant to watch, unlike other competitive eater who shove food into their mouths which is gross, but then you speed things up, and you turn into a mechanical blur, so what's the point of watching or even subscribing? Yes to mashed potato sandwiches. Needs to be decent white bread, with butter not margarine but the mash can’t be buttery then - probably controversially a splash of milk mixed in whilst still in the warm pan they were mashed in and then tomato ketchup. Have to go with plenty of mash but accept it’s going to fall out on that first bite! That did look a delicious plateful and Yorkshire’s again - yummmy!!! Happy Shutsmas!!
