My closest friend told me about what "Dear Starboy" was before I even was introduced to Eddsworld. I told her "I'm not going to read a story as cheesy as that." I also said I probably wouldn't watch Eddsworld because it sounded weird. She told me about Dear Starboy, and the ship between Tom and Tord, bawling her eyes out over the phone when she finished both. She told me the story. The next day she called still sad about it but how much she loved both the fanfiction, and Eddsworld itself. The next day, I woke up early, which is nowhere near normal for me, and binge watched all of Eddsworld. I've now grown to love it, as she has, we can now talk about it together, with both of us understanding what Eddsworld was. Though I still refused to read Dear Starboy until late last night. I hate that I refused to read the fanfiction, and now that I have, it was definitely worth while. Though I knew how it concluded, I have never come so close to shedding a tear while reading. I love that story for any fanfiction I have ever read. This video was wonderfully put together and the art was perfect. Excellent job and thank you. I like to make up my own ending for this story where later when Tom lives with Edd and Matt that Tord shows up and it's revealed that he faked his death to get away from people and moves in with the gang. So that's were the series begins. :')
Tom was sitting in his room, grieving and sulking after 3 years with out *him*. Three years since he stood up to his father. Three years since he lived in with his friends. Crying. Crying. Crying... oh how much he wished for *him* to be back... "Tom! We're going to the arcade, you wanna come with us?" Edd shouted from down stairs. He had taken a liking to a green hoodie that he wore all the time and Matt was still Matt. "No, im going to stay here..." he answered back, not really feeling up to it. A loud slam was heard, indicating to Tom that the two had left. 10 minutes... 30 minutes... An hour... *knock* *knock* *knock* Tom stumbled down the stairs, wiping his puffy eyes and ruffled his hair, opening the door. He wasn't expecting anyone one thing and Edd has the keys to the house. He was to lazy to check, so he swung open the door, his hollow eyes stared at the person in front of him. A silence passed between the person on the other side of the door. "Hey... Kitty boy..." a Norwegian accent said, smiling as tears ran down their face. They had strawberry blond hair and supported a red hoodie and grey pants instead of a pastel ulterior all those years ago. A bandage was on his face and he looked more... less feminine...? If that makes sense. Tom slammed the door in the person face, sliding down it and began crying again. "No... you can't be alive, you can't...!" Tom sobbed into the sleeves of his Prussian blue hoodie. "I promise, I am!" Tord chuckled between tears. "No... you died.... This is beautiful. I can't describe in words how amazing this was. I'm actually crying as I write this considering I just stumbled upon this. I haven't read Dear Starboy since February and here I am, crying over it. It's incredible how you managed to take the story and give out so many feelings.
