I think my best solo queue tip is to understand who your win condition is. You can't carry every game, but you can support your team appropriately every game. There should be one other person you can identify as either a carry or a like minded player. Understanding when to commit to risky plays and when to peel for teammates both helps morale and prevents unnecessary deaths. Find that person who is also winning lane and help them, focus on objectives, and push advantages to score. If jungle is making things happen, follow their lead, don't try to be the main character. On the other hand, if they feed and run to lane again, take the jungle and get an experience lead, if there isn't an objective there should be no wild dots on the map.
Lastly, always save unite for ray and group before 2 min!!!
For anyone stumbling on this video in the future: this was after 133 games and 67% win rate. If you have 15 games this season, you're not "stuck in Ultra" - you just need to play more.
Cant say, I'm stuck on Ultra if I fell to Elite, can I? Nice and cozy 40% Winrate.

Absolute truth. I finally tried some random discord trio ranked games to see if it generally helps, and not only was the added stress detrimental, but the tension of knowing the party is a rayquaza away from disbanding was pretty rough. Immediately played better and had more fun going back solo haha.
Trust me guys, this advices works!
Practice makes perfect, you’re not going to become a pro overnight. What I also do is if I start having bad games, like losing streaks or I feel I’m not doing great, I take a break and use a different Pokémon or retreat to Standard to practice more before putting my points at risk again. Cris is a legend and I can say I’ve learned from his tips and tricks.

I’ve been playing Petal/Drain venu center lane and honestly it’s been going so well. I got a streak of 8 wins once with him. Seems like matchmaking is a bit better this season

Solo Q as Wiggly is tough since I lose a lot of influence in the late game, but not having to fight over a role usually is nice. Also bullying lane early can tilt the opponent

Same here, I usually have one or two 30% wr players in my game who are so oblivious to how the game works; Lane owls with 1 ko, losing lane super hard - personally it's worse than last season for me xD

I actually played with you last week, and we got bodied. You outplayed the lane so hard. It was a blast to play with you.
Charizard always carried me to Masters and I used him to carry till Masters 1340. Even with some ridiculous games that I faced with three supporter teammates, I managed to use Charizard and destroyed even the cancerous Zacian/Comfey. I could say the same about Espeon because it's easy to secure with Psyshock and that helped me win some games and I also love Delphox and in rare cases, Jet Black Urshifu since he is still better than the Multi Strike Urshifu. Overall, its way better than I expected but other than that, I would face some challenges but I more than happy to face it.
this is helpful i used to play pokemon that are just classified "good" but now i use pokemon that i enjoy and now i can keep playing pokemon unite and i still win
I was just messing around with goodra for a few games and was surprised when I hit master lol I wasn't even trying! Seems like the matchmaking is a lot better this season
This has been the best season since like 5 already at 1450 in under 100 games mostly solo q last season was hell
Its always gonna be the golden rule when doing soloq. Do not tilt. If your team is bad. Try your hardest to carry. And alway be the guy who picks last to adjust the team comp. And most importantly. Play all roles. Gives you an edge by understandeing the role of your pokemon and your role in your team😊

@@ohcomeon1111 Well good for you to get even Master. I fell from Ultra Class 4 at the start to Hyper class 1 and now I'm back at elite Class 2.
@@ohcomeon1111 I stopped playing the roles the team needs. Because when I go, I get the most retarded jungler/attacker. If I play slowbro, I usually do the most damage.
If I play Eldengod, I do, most of the time, the most damage.
Try to find the problem.
Last game, I had 20 Kills, 120k dmg and we still lost, because I got 2 retards in my team with 15k dmg.
I dont lose because I'm bad. I lose because I get the worst teammates with the worst Pokemon.

I have been stuck in ultra class 1 for the past 3 to 4 days it feels so much struggle to win every game that at this point I barely feel motivated

Man, I’ve been stuck in Ultra 2 and 3 this season, just keep losing. Last season, I went from beginner to Master in about a week. Not sure what’s changed this season.
Pokemon unite after the new selection screen update is one of the biggest nightmare of all time for SOLO Q the random builds are insane
Pikachu:- Attack weight, weekness, leftover
Blue badge absol:- using choice speces 😮
Cinderace:- all 3 glasses 🕶️
Greninga:- score shield, leftover and vest
And much more nightmare is seen in my Pokemon unite some time i feel bot matches are generally good 😢

Yo have awesome advice cris, but the thing is that the criteria that players use in orther to make decisions throughout game is sometimes twisted or I don't know wtf is going trough their minds, but something must be wrong because they lack of logic. It just amazes me sometimes, it's almost all the players in ultra an some in master before 1400 that don't know in full lenght how this game works

Im also a solo q player and my games is bad always defeat after defeat i watch the video all details i did but having fun is out because of the team auto picks enemy team always on duos and my team is always at lvl 17 to 25 to 30 just still learning the game its too difficult
Im at 68 battles this season and i reached master yesterday. Feels good 🎉
Same happened to me, we had all the 4 goals up and enemy just had one goal left. A hyper carry greninja in my team started ripping ray while we were outnumbered in the 2 minute fight. And ofcourse he was the jungler with under 35k damage. I uninstalled the game out of frustration after that. I was playing slobro with 65k damage that game
Every season I track how many games it takes me to get to master solo. Last season was my record at 44 matches.

It's surprising but I'm around 1500 points and played only two or three days. Probably not getting higher because lots of trio and duo q's started showing up and it will get uncarriable for my skill level but it's aight :)
I'm in a very sad spot in Unite because I play every day and am around 1300 but I main defenders and supporters so I am too reliant on my teammates to get any higher than I am right now... any recommendations for all-rounders and attackers I should pick up which can be played well on mobile and are not too hard to play?
Urshifu if you want to do it easy, machamp as you need to only do 3 very good unite moves to win the match with a few k0s in the middle. As for attackers, learn to play Delphox in lane and jungle, or just play espeon if you don't want skill issue
But when u are playing without team its actually harder to win. Cause many random temmate had no sense ,even in master rank. And you cant do all by your own.

I've found it pretty easy this season as well, hope I don't jinx it lol. I am at 1375, fastest I've climbed in the past few season

I'm comfortable with attackers but in soloq all i get are attacker allies idk why and then i have to pick a defender(not bad at it but not good either) coz i know how hard it can be without tank but then my attackers starts backcapping and Just doesn't help even i tank them like idk man, it really sucks this season for me.

I’m actually having a harder time ranking up. Normally I was able to get up to 1400 or 1600. But I’m actually now at a negative win rate. It feels like either have a team that just dominates or we get dominated. Very few equal games.
My first 20 games of the season were terrible. Went from 56% last season (peaked at world rank 6500) to a 30% winrate. Im back around 1400 but it was rough at first
The higher you go the more shit your randoms are. I hit #38 globally & I’m sitting at 1500 rn. I cannot get a single team to do anything I say. It only started getting this bad once I was higher on the global ranks. All of a sudden I’m fighting with randoms for jungle again and my teammates look n play worse than when I was lower ELO. The game is actively handicapping it’s best players in solo queue.

The best way to get to masters right now is at the beginning inmeadeatly, after that, it's just way to hard, proven every season I'm not able to play at the beginning, when I try playing the game it's just frustrating, today I started needing only two more wins, and thanks to the queue, i ended up needing 4 now... I played like one hour and a half just to get terrible teammates, I'm not the best, but I'm not an AFK, no lane picking, thanks spamming, rage quitter jungle stealer player and playing like that, is just sad.

With gengar I takeout opponent's 3 attackers/speedsters but still my whole team wiped out by a comfey zacian, lapras urshifu etc etc
So I played with 2 games zacian to get back my points 😅. I promise I will never play zacian in ranked again.

Machad, aka Machamp. Fun to play, has a way of growing very strong late game, and a Unite Move that can easily win the match on the spot if used right.

@@TOXICGAMING-2003 Do you mean Delphox or Absol? Absol is underpowered right now, while Delphox is pretty good. Zoroark (the other fox) costs more than 10k coins, but I'm not sure how good it is. If you mean Alolan Ninetales, then I don't know how good she is.

112 games = 1344 min ( 10 min game + 2 min for matchmaking ) , 1344/60 = 22.4 hours , thats exactly what happens when you play this game as a job , normal soloq players cannot acheive that except when they are done with their life

Just won 9 straight solo queue while absolutely carrying every scrub they tossed at me while the other team is clearly more competent. My teammates got worse & worse but I kept forcing wins. Until just now they gave me teammates that wouldn’t even approach to fight or fight without me almost on purpose. Fuck matchmaking. I have a 60%+ win rate solo queue this season & I’ve never had to carry this many potatoes. They tilt because I’m level 9/10 at 1st objective and they can’t force their one little stack. I hate what this game became. Greedy n shallow. N this is coming from a player who’s been high ELO/top 100 on the leaderboard multiple times. The devs need to be called out

I am at 1480 with like 80 games and 67 percent win rate.. seems one of the best season to rank, but i m spamming only lapras, so i feel a little bit dirty even if 95% of other lapras are shit, but it s the only that can do a 1 vs 5 when all your team is trash

Maybe it's just me but it feels like my matchmaking has been significantly better this season. I play mostly defenders with the occasional support or top lane attacker (never jungle) and I usually hover around 52%-53% winrate. Right now I'm in Ultra with a 63% winrate.
