For newbies like myself, go to 9:00 first to format your micro SD card and then return to the beginning. I wasted so much time trying to find out how to format it, almost ran out to go and buy a new card. Luckily, I gave up and was just watching the video and voila - stumbled on the answer at 9:00

hi, when i select some videos a few minutes long to download to my iphone via the live dv app it displays a message that it will take over 1million seconds to download and invariably then fails to download and show an error message, any ideas what might be wrong? thanks
I have one of these to record stuff via the external line in - it doesn't disable the internal mic though when you plug an external source in !! Is there a way of doing it?
I need urgent help please - my CT-8500 has gone into a strange mode where ever time it turns on it displays “Completed”, defaults all the settings and the WiFi SSID shows as “AIT-Streaming-Demo-AP”. I’ve tried many things, but cannot get it out of this mode and I cannot connect any of the supported apps to the camera. Any ideas please?

hi, just bought the 8500 with external mike but it hardly picks up my normal voice talking, and playback needs the speakers turned up way high to hear any audio playback . is this normal?
It’s might be defective camera if the microphone isn’t picking up sound. Better to take it back & exchange it. Normal playback sound is not that loud on the camera the speaker isn’t that big. Better to connect to the app & watch playback with sound. Hope this helps

Hi stephanie, turn the camera on & go through the menu system like I’ve shown on the video & get to format micro sd card & format it & after it should work. Press the mode button to flick through the different modes to get to video mode. Hope this helps

Can’t understand why it’s not working have you tried a iPhone or iPad or any other android device just to check before you send it back. Might be due to compatibility of the phone

No, when storage is full any new footage will overwrite

is 4k 30 better than 1080p 60
1080p 60 is what you should use when in fast moving scenes or shaky scenes as it works with EIS 4k 30 is for slow smooth scenes such as in water.

Is there a limit to the video length that it can record?
My camera says format to card, that’s as far as I get , I don’t get any options and when I switch on it doesn’t go to video
