Testing AWS WAF vs DDoS Attack

Is cloudfare better than this for DDoS attacks? Cloudfare seems cheaper too. What would you recommend?

I only Demo’d the Shield basic, the free one. Shield Adv vs CloudFlair. I recommend F5 XC!
