    If the price is reasonable, quality is acceptable, yes can support. If price is too ex, paste what sticker say what support is also useless.

    don't support local just because they are local, support them because they are innovative, good quality and reasonably priced. I am an ex pat and never consciously went out of my way to buy local but as I type this comment I realise I am sitting on a royale ergonomics chair, looking at 2 prism monitors, powered by an aftershock PC, razer wireless mouse all on top of an ergoedge desk.

    Depends, I would normally do some research/consultation with friends before deciding to go for local products so as to find out if that company practice discriminatory hiring/promotion against local citizens, because as a young nation there are just too many pro-foreigner businesses in Singapore that bully local employees, I heard even that reputable Shensiong favour hiring Mmasians over locals

    things make in spore should have a "Make in SG" icon.. something like those things that are make in US, where there is a icon on the package. that would bring out make in spore more.. just a small text print is not enough.

    Mothership asked stupid question to trick Singaporeans. Local brands are not made in Singapore, why you must support them just because the owners nationality are Singaporean? Secret Lab and Razer so called local brand but all made from overseas. Do you consider Haidilao and Shopee as local brand because their founders are neutralized?

    • @matreen427
      @matreen427 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Made in Singapore items, apart from food are too higher due to labour costs. It makes it hard for Singaporeans to buy it if it costs too much e.g. certain SG fashion brands which not up to quality and overpriced

    • @limlisa

      Your narrow minded show that if more people like you the country is gone. Local brand means is created by local. Apple also have factory in China so they are not us company?

    • @leehyunsong7001
      @leehyunsong7001 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@limlisa your narrow brain cannot digest what i said so i have to speak to you like i speak to a chihuahua, my point is what is the PURPOSE of supporting local brands if their products just made from overseas? And Apple dont have factories, they engaged third party to make their products only.

    Cheap and good. If average quality, at least must cheap. So local is impossible even if u want to.
    I get my clothes from shopee/tb. 10 or less for top(with prints i like) and 15 or less for bottom. Tell me where in sg can get this price anymore? But the gahmen just have to fk the poor by charging gst for online shopping.
