Kinda funny that this came out this week because I've been working on my draw a lot this week. I hadn't done any serious practice on my draw in a few weeks and decided I needed to do some, been averaging around 1.0 to maybe 1.2 if I'm a little slow, but I managed a .87 which was a personal record.
I really enjoy these videos on building foundational skills like working on your draw, grip, sights or trigger press. You guys are doing a great service. Thank you

Nice! .87 is spicy! Keep at it! Glad you're finding this series helpful.

This one was fun..I am with you on not doing the work right now, I am in the middle of a project and training has taken a backseat for now (details coming soon) and I don't know if I could get the .7 I have been.. I will find some time away from studying this week and put more time into training... thanks Steph and Neil

I'm a solid 1.6 on a timer cold. 1.3 warmed up. I worked to get there it wasn't that hard but you really have to work for every tenth under that. I can get a 1.0 occasionally but getting to there consistently is difficult

What chamber flag are you using in there while doing dryfire drills?

I have a H&K P30SK. Hammer fire. Is it OK to dry fire it? I've read conflicting opinions. What're your thoughts on dry firing a hammer?

Take the ammo out and dry fire away. That is the same gun that both John and Steph carry and dry fire with regularly.

To what standard of accuracy though? I'll have a certain time on a 2" circle at 4 yards, then at least .2 faster for a 3x3" post-it note, same distance

I like 1 or 2 inch circles. You get to pick and then set your standard. Once you have that, you can work on improving.

    Great video,
MANTIS LASER ACADEMY is the way to go if trying to save money on ammo with dry fire.
I just recently bought the Mantis Laser Academy and like it as it has a shot timer with a beep from draw to first shot on target with a way to see how accurate your shot was.
Also Mantis sent me charts to show what your perceived distance would be in real life based on rather you use their bigger or smaller targets.

Why do you consistently have your hand grasping the garment prior to the initiation of the repetition? Isn’t this hard wiring bad habits? Just curious as I want to learn and improve as well.

      It’s a repeatable starting position… nothing more.
