Loved your presentation. You are one of the few doing a you tube boat review actually operating the vessel and clearly sharing how your feel at the helm. Well done mate! Lovely boat.
like the floor plan. love the big frig. I don't like 3 or 4 refrigerators that you can't put a lot in. if I'm going out on the boat for a few days, I don't want to have to get supplies every day.
I hope hybrid & electric yacht systems can be upgraded when new battery tech arrives. If not, boats like this could be seriously obsolete with a quickness, well within their expected lifetimes.
So what is the actual range of the boat with the 1500Litre fuel tank at say 15 knots? Thanks for the video both this and the Aquaholic one are very informative.
It depends what your intended use is. For very long voyages they have less impact, or short lazing tours they come into their own. Also a big advantage is if you overnight on them at anchor a lot you have all the electrics including a/c running from batteries not generators so it's silent at night.
I am conflicted as the presentation is pleasing but bereft of detail as to the engineering spaces & associated kit, the electronics offered/installed and performance details. In short, this video is a Brief overview rather than a Review which implies a deeper examination of the product, IMHO. - USN Retired.
Can you overnight at anchor on a Sunseeker with the electrics on and the a/c blasting but the generator off? You can on this, from batteries. Also at slow speeds you can run a few miles on electric alone. That can make for some silent cruising of nice parts of islands, etc. If you spend most of your time going to nearby marinas (as many owners do) then you can run a LOT of that from electrics and that cuts down not just fuel used but also engine hour load... very useful when it comes to resale.
If the boat is a sport boat you always say the top speed. If the boat is supposed to be a distance cruiser, for the love of meat pies please say what the cruising range is. FFS.
Cruising range depends on speed and conditions. But if long distance non-stop cruising is the desired use then Greenline will put in larger or more tanks for you (they're big into non-structural customisation).

Dan C he is my favorite boat reviewer as well!
Fine, informative review. On this size boat, I'd like the coupe.

Thanks for your honesty
Great video, sound is great, you are charging along so well done, only thing now is sorting out his wardrobe, shocking combination
We'll pass on the message ;-D
First rate, succinct look at this boat and its operation.
Would love one.
So with the hybrid option can you upgrade to the 300hp,D4 Volvo power? Just a little more boast. Or is it hard on the electro motors maybe.

We recorded a fuel consumption of 4.73lpm at 14.8 knots, so that converts to a range of 254 miles
Also, at 7 knots, 750 miles; at 5 knots, 1650 miles.

How much more expensive is a hybrid, is it worth buying? Which engine do you recommended ?

It would have been nice to have reported something on the range at different speeds.
Here you go, Rolf:
909 nm @ 6.8 knots
467 nm @ 9.8 knots
267 nm @ 12.8 knots
254 nm @ 14.8 knots
258 nm @ 18.2 knots
246 nm @ 21.7 knots
209 nm @ 24.8 knots
206 nm @ 25.8 knots
@@MotorBoatYachting OK, thank you :-)
What happened to the hybrid option?
They do offer one, it just wasn't fitted to our test boat
Clean
How much was it?
Price start from £653,454 (inc. VAT)
👍👌
Why would I get this over a sunseeker?
