I'd completely forgotten about the Imaginarium Theatre that was announced in the livestream as well. It's probably one of the things I am most excited about on the upcoming patch. How about you guys? Anything you are looking forward to on the upcoming update?
This year's windtrace event was a lot different from the old windtrace. Before this one, it wouldve basically be hide and seek. but now they made it more like capture the flag which made it less enjoyable. I think if they brought back the old wintrace then you'd understand the hype more since it used to be way more fun
I have no idea it wasn’t like this the previous years 😩 i wish I’d played it before then because this one was very… well, not fun to play at all 😔 I wonder why they changed it this year if the old one was so popular then?
For me, it is ironic because I wasn't able to listen to the livestream when it broadcasted at the time. I will be learning about the livestream from listening to this video haha. Thank you for publishing this! Will be listening to it now.
to be honest, im actually very excited for 4.7! its like fresh air to me after the last boring patches, dainsleif quest and furina rerun are things im looking up to the most! but i do understand the burnout and everything, me and my friends expierience this too right now, genshin got pretty boring in the past few months and i dont enjoy the game as much as i did 2 years ago. as for the windtrace, im also really upset this year. previous ones were SO much better and i was really hyped for nothing 😭 remember its always okay to take a break or quit for a while if you need to, theres nothing worse than forcing yourself to play!! 🌸🫶
Totally understandable! When you get long awaited quests and characters that you want in a patch, it’s always more motivating and makes you wanna play ☺️ but I am glad to know I am not the only one going thru these genshin burnouts every once in a while 😅 And thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it 🩵
Just thought I would leave an updated comment. The burnout for Genshin has become more prevalent for many people, no denying that. The issue with the game is that there’s a hard wall people will get slammed against once players reach “late game.” There’s not much replayability once you complete the world quests. Grinding artifacts and burning resin isn’t good enough anymore as it gets redundant really quick. Same for spiral abyss as it’s more or less, a stat check mode. I do hope Hoyoverse takes steps to adding more content that spikes longevity/replayability.
you don't like Dainsleif's quests? 😮 i think that's kinda unpopular opinion, but i respect it of course ^^ also i relate to the genshin burnout a lot. i logged into the game today after not playing for 2? maybe 3? weeks... and i'm not even excited for Natlan as much as i want to be 😭
Starting the last one, I think I was getting less and less interested, ngl 😅 Glad to see I am not the only one! I started thinking something was wrong with me… but I am sure I’ll go back to being excited about GI once 5.0 starts, no doubt!
It's so clear that Genshin is like the neglected middle child for Hoyo at the moment. HSR has been out barely over a year and their first anniversary was better than any genshin Anni, and they get the important QoL fixes earlier than Genshin. Heck, Genshin still doesn't have basics like fuel bank or dialogue history in cutscenes. They really need to step up their game, especially with Wuwa being so generous
I have never seen it put so clearly 🙌🏼 but I think even with WuWa, there still are a lot of players bringing in the money for Genshin so I don’t think a new game being released is going to put that much pressure on them… but it’s okay, I am sure they will end up getting there and giving us all the optimizations that we have been asking for 😅
