So the flung spacing is the same for road and MTB? Isn't that gonna make the wheel weak for MTB? If road is 130/135, how is it the same hub for 142? Is it 130 for all versions with different end cups for different frames?

Has Onyx told you there are no rim brake hubs? Your own site shows 130qr rear and 100qr options. How are those not rim brake hubs?

Be aware that Onyx does not recommend using the Onyx Vesper on E-MTB. The "Classic" Onyx hub can however handle the extra torque from E-MTB motors.

I have had one on an e-mtb since they were released to the public. I service them regularly and haven't noticed any negative effects compared to my vespers on my pedal bike. But i am sure it is to cover their ass(especially from the 280lb clydesdales trying to lose weight climbing in turbo mode). They have told me flat out they will not "warranty" my emtb hubs. Fine with with me. Emtb eats cassettes too. Just a wear item.

@@LightBicycleOfficial It's not the volume that is intrusive but the mid frequencies, which is where most voices are. You don't want these frequencies to be busy with both music and voice, making it harder to separate one from the other. Just add a simple parametric eq and dip around 8-10 dbs on whatever mid frequency you think fits best and while playing around with the Q.
