Did they tell you petsonally that they don't ship to the US? Or did you read the info on their site that they sell in EU, UK and Switzerland only so far?
I like what pet tracer is doing with their radio scanner which is great, but a max range of only 500m from the collar to the homestation is such a shame when other collars have unlimited range
This is why I was confused on their site. So even the GPS tracking only has 500m? Thats what it sounded like and then reading your comment is sounds like thats the case. Why is the GPS not standard and a sim and data can be purchased. The subscription is 125 a year for 500m GPS? How can that be
@@sprtwlf9314 yep, on their website they say if there are other homestations within the area that would also boost the range. I find it weird that they send gps locations via radio from the collar to their home station and then add the location to their server via the internet, seems like it could be a cost saving thing on their end maybe.
Hi, the GPS is unlimited. The signal is transmitted to the HomeStation via radio which is why this is limited to 500m. This means that if the cat is out of range but comes back into range you will be able to see in retrospect where ha has been. You can also make the HomeStation mobile by connecting it to a power bank and moving closer to the cats natural territory which will give you a new 500m area from that point as well as guide you with the Radio technology if you are getting closer or further away from him.
Hi, you understood how petTracer works but there are many reasons as to why we opted for this as our technology as opposed to using SMS like most other companies do. One of it is that many users dont like a device next to their cat's head constantly using telephone technology which could potentially cause radiation to their cat.
this is just u advertising ur own product and i have 2 cats why would i spend 400 dollars on 2 small trackers when i could get a really good one for 20$?
