I tried the new Goddess Intense and I hated it. I didn’t get patchouli on my skin but the lavender came off really astringent. I prefer the OG way more. I almost blind bought the travel and I’m glad I didn’t. The new Nest is amazing! Great video! 😊

I really wanted to like the Burberry Intense, but I much, much prefer Original Goddess, as it is softer and sweeter. Glad I just got the travel size, but I am giving it to my husband and son to use, as it comes off more masculine. To be fair, I like it more than I thought I would, especially considering how much I dislike patchouli, but I just don't like it enough to keep it and wear it myself - - hope that makes sense! ❤

I love Burberry Goddess and on Thursday I saw Burberry Goddess Intense in Macys. I have been waiting for this to come out and was sooo excited! Then....I sprayed it. It turned almost masculine on me when it dried down. I got so irritated I couldn't wait to scrub it off my arm. Such a disappointment ☹️

I love vanilla bourbon by mixbar. It’s such a nice cheap vanilla 🤓🤓🤓 nest vanilla bourbon is definitely more mature and dark and I really like it but I think it’s gonna turn into a love in the colder months 😋😋😋

why do they keep changing perfumes that are great and turning them into obnoxious flankers which are completely different scents? I'm taking this off my chest in this wonderful space of sharing complaints about new formulations 🤣🤣Infusions d'Iris was my signature scent for life. I had a 100ml bottle from before 2015, bought a backup and was still wearing that one until it finishes. WELL, opened my backup, it's a new formulation and it suuuuucks! No incense, no vetiver, a lot of these ingredients that gave so much complexity to that scent are GONE. why would they keep changing scents that are so successful? I don't get it and I soooo understand everyone's frustration with such a beloved scent as Burberry Goddess. Ugh so frustrating, it's so lame.
Another beautifully descriptive video. Although there seems to be not much love for Goddess intense, I will be buying it to add it to tone down my overly spicy or add depth to weaker fragrances. I find those fragrances to be very helpful. Just like B&BW mens coffee and whiskey and whiskey reserve. I've had men, which my hubby dislikes, come up to me saying I need that sexy perfume for my lady. 😂 and I'm here thinking and feeling cozy and pretty (far from sexy). I smelled the new Burberry Goddess at the store and honestly hated it. It somehow smelled like bathroom cleaner to me? Idk if it's just my skin chemistry but i'm definitely not gonna purchase a bottle of it. Contrary, i absolutely love the new Libre Flowers & Flames. It's similar to the OG but a lot more feminine to me, yet still sophisticated and signature scent worthy. Definitely gonna get myself a bottle next time i go perfume shopping.
Yes I agree with you. I’m gonna stick with the Burberry goddess OG🤓🤓🤓 the new Libre is very nice and I do prefer it over the original but I decluttered all my Libre except for the Le parfum. It’s my favorite🥰🥰🥰
For the record, there are different types of patchouly. There is the earthy green offensive patchouly, then there's white patchouly and there's a couple other different smoother kinds. Some brands use a smoother patchouly than others.

Patchouli is a tricky note for me. Love my Burberry Goddess and think I’m going to stick with the original. Yara Candy sounds amazing. I did hear that Candied Fantasy is set to release in the states towards the end of August ❤

Jamie, just now an article from Fragrantica popped up on my news feed, about the new Devotion Intense - the description said it was pretty much a deepening of the original notes plus a hazelnut top note! So at least they didn't add patchouli! 😂 Maybe this one will be a winner for us! 🤞🤞🤞

Our closest Sephora is still 30 miles away in a Kohl's, so I only go when I have another reason to go to Cape Girardeau, but I'm just glad we have one again, since the one in Penney's closed! I don't think I need Flowers & Flames, either, and thank you for that honest review, Jamie! I have the Le Parfum, and I do want the Intense, I've been spraying it a lot in Sephora, too! I have Libre Flowers & Flames and Vanilla Bourbon and absolutely love them both! The new Libre flanker wears much easier and lovely on my skin and even tho it is similar to the original, the subtle differences make a world of difference in my wear experience 😃🫶🏼🤎 Nest is divine and sexy bringing a unique Vanilla to my collection that is rich and cozy for the colder months.
I do really enjoy the flowers and flames. I just couldn’t see myself going through a full bottle of it. The coconut add such a nice creamy vibe🤓🤓🤓 I also love Nest perfumes. I’m very excited to try this new vanilla bourbon during the colder weather to see how it does😋😋😋
I picked up Goddess intense today at Sephora it’s so damn delicious I HATE pure patchouli but as base in perfumes I typically like. I couldn’t wait I opened and smelled in mall - (bought in pickup blind) hubby couldn’t smell in container so I sprayed on the bag as we got out in the air - less people . Before we got to the car two people asked what I was wearing lmao not realizing it was the bag. I was wearing cloud so I knew that was not what they were asking for. I’m obsessed with goddess and devotion.. if it’s half as good on skin as on the bag - it’s gonna be GOOOOOOD… trying this week can’t wait!
Wanted to add im not turned off by masculine scents I love many neutral or masculine. But this did not read masculine to me. More like the night version of goddess (one daily one nightly almost )

as a guy...I'm curious about Flowers & Flames. i was gifted the original by a friend because she felt it was too masculine leaning on her. i love lavender in a fragrance and rather enjoyed it. i ended up purchasing Libre L'Absolu Platine after i finished the og and personally liked that one more. it definitely felt unisex to me. wondering if i could pull this one off 🤔
Now that I’m thinking about it, I do feel like the flowers and flames could definitely be unisex🤔 it’s so similar to the original except for it’s a little bit sweeter and a little bit creamier but yes, I think just about anyone could probably pull this off🤓

Both are fantastic and can each stand alone. ❤❤❤ Burberry Intense REALLY broke my heart! 😢😢😢 The patchouli is the reason why I picked up the travel size. I hate to say it but I prefer my OG.
I do like the fusion when I’m wanting more of a creamy gummy bear scent. But Yara is my favorite because I love a good sour sweet gummy.🤓🤓🤓 Burberry goddess intense, definitely has broken a lot of hearts this past week 🤦🏼♀️🤣😭 I think they would have done better if they would have marketed this as the men’s version and called it something like “Burberry god”

Yeah, I love Burberry goddess so much that I went and tested the goddess intense at Sephora the other day. I could not wait to wash it off. It is a strong herbal lavender to me. That is the main note maybe some patchouly yes, not for me, I will stick with the original.
I have never smelt that perfume before, but it sounds amazing🤓 I just looked up the notes and it definitely seems like it would be giving off similar vibes to vanilla bourbon for sure😋

Ok, im super curious about this new Yara Candy. I tried the OG and did not care for that one at all. Totally didnt get anything like how its described by most 😅🤷♀️ Yara Tous i did like but wasnt a Love as it reminded me a lot of Alien Goddess which i already have as well as the Intense so i passed Tous along to my sister. But this Candy one may be a winner 🤔... I just smelled Goddess Intense in store, hard pass on that one. The original Goddess smell way nicer and sweeter, Intense was harsh probably because of the Patchouli. Libre one surprisingly was nice to me and I am not a fan of the Libre line 😂 I dont care for lavender so Libre doesnt work for me. But in this new one the added coconut adds creaminess that helps to smoothen out that lavender. Probably wouldn't purchase though 🙃... Now Vanilla Bourbon from Nest 😍😍😍 that was a love as first sniff! Bought a full bottle 🥰
The Yara candy definitely doesn’t smell anything like any of the other yaras. I was very pleasantly surprised with that one.🤓🤓🤓 I still have not smelled Burberry goddess intense however I have heard it is extremely masculine and I think this would have been received better if they had called this Burberry god and marketed it as the men’s version of Burberry goddess. I feel like if something is going to have “goddess” in the name of the perfume it should smell very feminine🤷🏻♀️ Libre flowers and flames is definitely a better version of the original because of that creamy coconut however I don’t feel the need to pick up a full bottle of it😋 Vanilla bourbon is really unique in my opinion, and I am considering picking up a full bottle of that😏

Ha, I'm 6 minutes into the video and here I am stopping it *again* to "talk" to you! Years ago, in some really bougie department store, Saks, Neiman Marcus, something...they had dog *and* kitty perfumes - I don't remember who made them or anything. 😂 My kids are always picking up one of the kitties and saying, "You smell like Mom's perfume!" - I hadn't noticed until the other day I picked Tallulah up, and she *did*. Like vanilla. She smelled really good! ❤

Hi Jamie!! ❤ ooh I’m not sure what to expect with the new Burberry goddess.. 🤔 (I have patchouli essential oil and to me patchouli smells like if a lemon came as mint flavored , and then you squirted the minty lemon into the mud where your potatoes are growing) 😅 But if it’s blended into the fragrance super well I do often enjoy it! They will never be able to make a Libre that I enjoy- no matter how much vanilla they add to the flankers, they still all smell like a men’s cologne to me 😂🤷🏻♀️ I want to smell Vanilla Bourbon just to see what it’s like ..even if I’m not sure it would work for me, I’m so curious! 😃 🎵 She’s a maneater! 🎵 😅

Yes, it just smells so different than the regular jasmine I’m used to smelling in perfumes. I don’t know if I would necessarily say it’s stronger But it definitely smells darker and almost like it’s Gothic or something. I use to work at a farm that bred goats. When they mate, they release a very pungent pheromone. It smells exactly like patchouli and I just can’t do it. Anything with patchouli smells like dirty goat to me now 😂

I love my dog and all, but NO WAY I’d spend $100 on a perfume for my dogs. I have a spray that came with their shampoo, and I paid $50 for the set ( both 16 oz bottles) and I thought that was bad 🥴.
All I’m gonna say about a $100 pet perfume, is if you have that kind of money to blow, buy a $100 in pet supplies and donate it to your local rescue group. I mean to each his own, but excess like $100 perfume so Fido smells nice just seems obnoxious.

Another beautifully descriptive video. Although there seems to be not much love for Goddess intense, I will be buying it to add it to tone down my overly spicy or add depth to weaker fragrances. I find those fragrances to be very helpful. Just like B&BW mens coffee and whiskey and whiskey reserve. I've had men, which my hubby dislikes, come up to me saying I need that sexy perfume for my lady. 😂 and I'm here thinking and feeling cozy and pretty (far from sexy).

I don’t mind patchouli in other fragrances, but in Burberry goddess I just can’t imagine how it would fit however, I am willing to give it a chance🤓🤓🤓 from what I’ve heard it’s extremely masculine so I’m sure that will be appealing to some people.
I smelled the new Burberry Goddess at the store and honestly hated it. It somehow smelled like bathroom cleaner to me? Idk if it's just my skin chemistry but i'm definitely not gonna purchase a bottle of it. Contrary, i absolutely love the new Libre Flowers & Flames. It's similar to the OG but a lot more feminine to me, yet still sophisticated and signature scent worthy. Definitely gonna get myself a bottle next time i go perfume shopping.
Yes I agree with you. I’m gonna stick with the Burberry goddess OG🤓🤓🤓 the new Libre is very nice and I do prefer it over the original but I decluttered all my Libre except for the Le parfum. It’s my favorite🥰🥰🥰

For the record, there are different types of patchouly. There is the earthy green offensive patchouly, then there's white patchouly and there's a couple other different smoother kinds. Some brands use a smoother patchouly than others.

Patchouli is a tricky note for me. Love my Burberry Goddess and think I’m going to stick with the original. Yara Candy sounds amazing. I did hear that Candied Fantasy is set to release in the states towards the end of August ❤
I’ve heard that the new Burberry goddess intense is a more masculine version of the original so I feel like this is a little bit of false advertisement. They should have released this new perfume and called it Burberry god. And marketed it as a His and Hers perfume duo.

Jamie, just now an article from Fragrantica popped up on my news feed, about the new Devotion Intense - the description said it was pretty much a deepening of the original notes plus a hazelnut top note! So at least they didn't add patchouli! 😂 Maybe this one will be a winner for us! 🤞🤞🤞

Our closest Sephora is still 30 miles away in a Kohl's, so I only go when I have another reason to go to Cape Girardeau, but I'm just glad we have one again, since the one in Penney's closed! I don't think I need Flowers & Flames, either, and thank you for that honest review, Jamie! I have the Le Parfum, and I do want the Intense, I've been spraying it a lot in Sephora, too!

I have Libre Flowers & Flames and Vanilla Bourbon and absolutely love them both! The new Libre flanker wears much easier and lovely on my skin and even tho it is similar to the original, the subtle differences make a world of difference in my wear experience 😃🫶🏼🤎 Nest is divine and sexy bringing a unique Vanilla to my collection that is rich and cozy for the colder months.
I do really enjoy the flowers and flames. I just couldn’t see myself going through a full bottle of it. The coconut add such a nice creamy vibe🤓🤓🤓 I also love Nest perfumes. I’m very excited to try this new vanilla bourbon during the colder weather to see how it does😋😋😋

I HATE pure patchouli but as base in perfumes I typically like.
I couldn’t wait I opened and smelled in mall - (bought in pickup blind) hubby couldn’t smell in container so I sprayed on the bag as we got out in the air - less people . Before we got to the car two people asked what I was wearing lmao not realizing it was the bag.
I was wearing cloud so I knew that was not what they were asking for.
I’m obsessed with goddess and devotion.. if it’s half as good on skin as on the bag - it’s gonna be GOOOOOOD… trying this week can’t wait!
Wanted to add im not turned off by masculine scents I love many neutral or masculine. But this did not read masculine to me. More like the night version of goddess (one daily one nightly almost )

as a guy...I'm curious about Flowers & Flames. i was gifted the original by a friend because she felt it was too masculine leaning on her. i love lavender in a fragrance and rather enjoyed it. i ended up purchasing Libre L'Absolu Platine after i finished the og and personally liked that one more. it definitely felt unisex to me. wondering if i could pull this one off 🤔
Now that I’m thinking about it, I do feel like the flowers and flames could definitely be unisex🤔 it’s so similar to the original except for it’s a little bit sweeter and a little bit creamier but yes, I think just about anyone could probably pull this off🤓

Khair Fusion wasn't blended to have a fizzy note so it is a different scent than Yara Candy. Yara Candy smells exactly like Strawberry Sour Patch Kids. Both are fantastic and can each stand alone. ❤❤❤
Burberry Intense REALLY broke my heart! 😢😢😢 The patchouli is the reason why I picked up the travel size. I hate to say it but I prefer my OG.
I do like the fusion when I’m wanting more of a creamy gummy bear scent. But Yara is my favorite because I love a good sour sweet gummy.🤓🤓🤓

Yeah, I love Burberry goddess so much that I went and tested the goddess intense at Sephora the other day. I could not wait to wash it off. It is a strong herbal lavender to me. That is the main note maybe some patchouly yes, not for me, I will stick with the original.

Ok, im super curious about this new Yara Candy. I tried the OG and did not care for that one at all. Totally didnt get anything like how its described by most 😅🤷♀️ Yara Tous i did like but wasnt a Love as it reminded me a lot of Alien Goddess which i already have as well as the Intense so i passed Tous along to my sister. But this Candy one may be a winner 🤔... I just smelled Goddess Intense in store, hard pass on that one. The original Goddess smell way nicer and sweeter, Intense was harsh probably because of the Patchouli. Libre one surprisingly was nice to me and I am not a fan of the Libre line 😂 I dont care for lavender so Libre doesnt work for me. But in this new one the added coconut adds creaminess that helps to smoothen out that lavender. Probably wouldn't purchase though 🙃... Now Vanilla Bourbon from Nest 😍😍😍 that was a love as first sniff! Bought a full bottle 🥰
The Yara candy definitely doesn’t smell anything like any of the other yaras. I was very pleasantly surprised with that one.🤓🤓🤓 I still have not smelled Burberry goddess intense however I have heard it is extremely masculine and I think this would have been received better if they had called this Burberry god and marketed it as the men’s version of Burberry goddess. I feel like if something is going to have “goddess” in the name of the perfume it should smell very feminine🤷🏻♀️ Libre flowers and flames is definitely a better version of the original because of that creamy coconut however I don’t feel the need to pick up a full bottle of it😋 Vanilla bourbon is really unique in my opinion, and I am considering picking up a full bottle of that😏

If I were to see it on a very good sale I'd consider possibly getting it, though. I have to give the Le Parfum one another try. Maybe I'll like it more.

Ha, I'm 6 minutes into the video and here I am stopping it *again* to "talk" to you! Years ago, in some really bougie department store, Saks, Neiman Marcus, something...they had dog *and* kitty perfumes - I don't remember who made them or anything. 😂 My kids are always picking up one of the kitties and saying, "You smell like Mom's perfume!" - I hadn't noticed until the other day I picked Tallulah up, and she *did*. Like vanilla.

Hi Jamie!! ❤ ooh I’m not sure what to expect with the new Burberry goddess.. 🤔 (I have patchouli essential oil and to me patchouli smells like if a lemon came as mint flavored , and then you squirted the minty lemon into the mud where your potatoes are growing) 😅 But if it’s blended into the fragrance super well I do often enjoy it!
They will never be able to make a Libre that I enjoy- no matter how much vanilla they add to the flankers, they still all smell like a men’s cologne to me 😂🤷🏻♀️

Yes, it just smells so different than the regular jasmine I’m used to smelling in perfumes. I don’t know if I would necessarily say it’s stronger But it definitely smells darker and almost like it’s Gothic or something. It’s very very interesting🤓🤓🤓I’m still contemplating on whether I want a full bottle of vanilla bourbon or not.🤣🤣🤣

I use to work at a farm that bred goats. When they mate, they release a very pungent pheromone. It smells exactly like patchouli and I just can’t do it. Anything with patchouli smells like dirty goat to me now 😂

I love my dog and all, but NO WAY I’d spend $100 on a perfume for my dogs. I have a spray that came with their shampoo, and I paid $50 for the set ( both 16 oz bottles) and I thought that was bad 🥴.

Burberry goddess intense is similar to Tom ford vanilla sex. Almonds vanilla extract smell. Not sweet no patchouli and does not last long. Sadly.
